I'm very excited about it. With Disney being first family of superhero, with Disney backed Marvel up, no doubt about it, it will be a great success. I wish them the best of luck! DISCUSS!!!
Will said film be released under the Touchstone imprint (As I'd expect it to be under the DISNEY umbrella) or will it still be Paramount? It should, nevertheless, be a GAS! OpinionsCartoonStudios@Yahoo.Co.UK
Took BEETHOVEN no less than A FULL FOUR YEARS to write his famed 5th SYMPHONY.. Hell, it took the boys at Termite Terrace ( Home of LOONEY TUNES ) up to 18 mionths to hone & refine theier BEST vignettes! Worthwhile things can't be rushed.. I only hope that MARVEL Head Man Emeritus STAN LEE is still with us by the time it's 'a wrap & in the can' 'Nuff Said!!!! OpinionsCartoonStudios@Yahoo.Co.UK
Yeah, I hate waiting for movies too, but I wasn't 100% sold on Iron Man 2, I thought it could've used more action.
Don't worry guys, in the meantime we'll have Thor, Captain America and Avengers, all of which are taking place in the same universe as Iron Man, starting next summer.
I liked Iron more than 2. Don't get me wrong I'm not hating, but I wish they were a little more action packed. I feel the same way about Dark knight, even though those are my favorite. That's right, we have some other goodies or our addiction.
The second was very average, very. The villian was weak the story could have used some touching up Jonathan Nolan should have been brought in for some touch ups. I will still scoop up the Blu ray though when I can get it on the cheap really because it will look and sound STUNNING...
Malik True, that's why I wish Disney & Marvel the best of luck with a great success in the future. I'm very happy that they bought the rights so now with Disney doing their things, I'm very interesting what they're going to do with IRONMAN. They did so well with Narnia before. It's a shame that they've dropped the project.
In other words...a genre that is in overkill drive at this moment. Seriously people getting excited for IM in 2013 with its Disney logo?
Don't worry, there will also be Green Lantern and X-Men First Class next summer. After that will be the last batman (The Dark Knight Rises), Superman Rebot movie, Spider-Man rebot movie, Ghost Rider. Not to mention anything indepent graphic novel adaptations too. I think we can offically say that the CBM is a genre that becoming more solidified in each. I can see it now, I'll be an old man with my grandkids. They'll ask. "Hey Grandpa, what's your favorite kind of movies?" Instead of saying Westerns or Dramas, I can say "Comicbook movies my dears, comicbook movies."
Iron Man 2 sucked for one big reason. Don Cheadle had no business playing Rhodie. They couldn't find someone Michael Jai White who's even a better fit than Terrance Howard was.
I suspect that the Dark Knight is going to be the sh!t & gross more than the 1st 2 Yes sir, you win the grand prize.
Well..I heard that my friend told me that there's lots of talking in the Iron Man 2 movie, is that true? Lots of talking, no action????
I think MOST of the action is near end, with some spurts of action found in the first and second acts of the movie. Overall, I felt it was good, though some people believe it felt more like a prequel to the Avengers movie, which I have to say that I can kind of agree with. I think for the actual Iron Man story in itself, it didn't really expand the world of Tony Stark no further than the main villain(s) and some familiar friendships that got a little deeper. Maybe the budget didn't allow for many all out action sequences with all of the big star cast members. :smt102
Totally agree with you. If I knew there was going to be 10 installments I wouldn't care, but we're limited on time.
