Just go with the flow... you cant force anything. If people like you, they like you. If not, then look at it as their loss.
Why even try being friends with narrow minded people? There are plently of levelheaded people.
I just dont think you find what ever you want if you force it.
Seeking out female friends solely based on black skin is not really a good selection, you need to look for good genuine friends, doing that, and depending on where you live, you should have friends of all sorts of skin color.

I also think its odd to "plan" on having a multi-racial kid.. I mean its one thing to be only attracive to bm, a completely different thing to be hung up on a multi racial kid. If you are exclusively attracive to bm, then, yes, the likelihood is that you will have a multi-racial kid, but still - you dont know what the future brings and you might find love where you least expect it... Dont shut out stuff, you might not be able to "see" it right now..... but just be open for love in any form. You might miss something if you do.

If your future husband is black, you will most likely aquire black female friends anyhow so why sweat it now.

I have never met a bw friend that cut me out just because I date bm.. I have been met w suspision up front but it has usually resolved itself, if not, they werent ment to be your friend anyhow.. Noone can be accepted by everyone.... Move on.

Too frequently black women have bad reactions to interracial relationships.

a friend of mine was nearly beaten up because the girls at my school 'thought' we were dating because I never talked to the black girls in that class.

The truth was that we had similar interest and the initial backlash from talking with that friend made the black girls pretty annoying and scary. This incident was extreme for that particular class and I was not alone. at some point the teacher commented that we weirdly segregated ourselves in the classroom, and thats when i noticed that all 3 black guys in the classroom , including me,(black guys apparently don't like drama class at my high school) were FAR away from the large group of black girls in the class who were neatly separated from all the white students.

sometimes bizzare situations like that turn up but real friends don't care about that kind of thing so if they give you lip about what race you date then they aren't worth being friends with.

    Damned shame. Nothing less...

Here's the thing: Just how many people are WILLING to exercisse the *aptience* and *open-mindedness* to take time to *listen* & *understand* what *true* freindship (& more, of course) is all about?

    It's a microcosm...from what *I'VE* personally seen & witnessed...

    Hear, HEAR!

I totally, utterly and completely *concur* and *agree!*

as you can see what you acctually said is black women dont speak to you since you began dating white men

thats why i asked if it was a slip cos i was fairly sure your a black men who dates ww but i didnt want to assume cos hey you might be bi and acctually meant youve dated white men

You might want to read that again.

As far as the OP - can count on one hand how many times a black woman ever came up to me, or at least gave me some play. One was a high school girl who lost interest in about a week, the other one was a woman with 8 kids. :smt120 Besides, the area I'm in has the worst selection of black women around.
