Well, I had a fairly shitty day.

I've had a slow leak in my front tire for quite awhile, but seeing as how I don't have any money, I kept putting off getting it fixed. Well, with the cold weather setting in, I pretty much had to fill my tire up every night. So, finally today, I took it into Sears Auto to get the tire fixed.

Of course, because my luck sucks, they couldn't fix the tire because the leak was too close to the edge, or whatever. So I needed new front tires. The guy quoted me $275. Ouch. I said, I'd think about it. I went out to my car to drive away, only to find that the leak was so bad the tire was flat. I couldn't drive it anywhere. I was stuck spending that amount on the CHEAPEST tires they had.

So, as they're changing the tires, the guy came out and said, he can't get 2 lug nuts off. What do you want him to do? If he breaks them, it'll be an extra $70. I said, what choice do I have?? Of course, he had to break them to get them off. So, I walked out of Sears today, $345 less in my pocket. I fucking can't win to save my life.

Tomorrow is my 20 year HS reunion. I'm not going, because it's too expensive. So, tonight, I took my daughter and went to the HS Homecoming game, because a lot of my classmates were going to be there.

Well, it turns out that people could give two shits about me. They said, oh yeah, I remember you and walked away. One woman (besides my good friend) chatted with me. That's it.

So, my ego has definitely been crushed. I'm off to bed in hopes that tomorrow will be a better day.

JABL, a family friend told me a couple of months ago that her 20 year reunion was terrible and she advised me not to go. I went to my 10 year reunion and had a ball. Now, I know this isn't the official reunion, but I have to say that lady was spot on. The 20 year sucks.

 

Damn, sucks that all had to happen. I need new front tires gonna cost me 400 for 2. Shit. It seems like dealing with car trouble takes more time than it should with all the wait and whatnot.


As far as school, Fuck it. Most people in high school were phony shits anyway. I'll be damned if I'm going to my 20 shit(I say that now). If I need to talk to somebody I went to school with THAT bad, there is facebook....and I ain't even either trying to talk to most of my classmates on facebook.

 

I agree with this Bookie. I disliked high school with a passion and as BA had written, if I wanted to talk with someone that badly from that era we'd have continued to be friends.

On this forum and in your life, you are dearly wanted and treasured. Please remember that.

 

fuck high school ppl. If they were assholes the first time around chances are they're assholes still. I keep in touch, on facebook, with a few people from my class, but they were always nice to me. All the ones who weren't? They don't even try to contact me, which is good.

 

I'm letting to stress get to me, and I promised myself I wouldn't do that this quarter. I have $1.45 in my fucking bank account, and thanks to rent and a school payment it's gonna be about the same on this next payday yet again, cause rent's due. Ugh.

It's getting really frustrating knowing that no matter how hard I work I can't get anything with my own damn money. And on top of that I have to ask my bf for bus money, and food, and even fucking tampons. Anything I need cause I've been broke since before I got paid.

I need to relax, I think. I've got a day off coming up, since I requested it for the Zombie Walk but have since decided not to go, since they are charging admission this year instead of accepting donations. So I'm trying to think of something free or very, very cheap I could do to spend time with my baby and show him how much I appreciate his help. I think we need a date anyway, it's been way too long since we had one.

 

Damn, that sucks. Being broke sucks ass. Ben waiting on my financial aid for hella long.

 

Thanks guys and gals. Now that I have some perspective, I'm okay with what happened. It was just a bad day all around, and my mood maybe contributed to people not wanting to talk to me. Who knows.

Anyway, today is a new day, and I'm trying to just take one day at a time.

I'm sorry, DH. I know exactly how it feels to have $5 or less to your name until payday. I've been dealing with that on a weekly basis now for months. I hate working so I can be broke. It's ridiculous.

Keep your chin up. Finding free stuff to do can be even more rewarding than finding stuff to do that costs money. I'm slowly finding that out!

 

I have to register for school pretty soon. I hope everybody thats stressing life gets better.

 

One of my best friend's went to the reunion. I just text him and asked him how it was. His reply: "Fucking worthless". Then he told me he was at the bar that everyone decided to go to afterwards and that he's wasting more money there.

I asked why it was worthless and he said it was "so gay and boring".

I decided to re-watch the LOTR trilogy. They're my favorite movies of all time.

I haven't watched them in so long. And I decided to watch the extended versions. I finished Disc 1 of The Fellowship of the Ring. God, these movies are fantastic. I'll watch the 2nd disc tomorrow night. YAY!!!

Tomorrow and Sunday, I'll be shooting the short film that my friend wrote. I'm excited to be back to making movies again. He already has an idea for another short, so hopefully we'll get to writing that and making it soon.

The actors we have for our movie are great. 2 of the 3 actors we just met and they are working towards acting careers. They're awesome. The 3rd guy is a great actor, even for an amateur. We had him in our 2 feature length films.

I'm so excited to be doing this. Making movies makes me happy. I can forget about my troubles for awhile because I'm concentrating on having a great film shoot and making sure the movie gets made without a hitch. Ah, the life of a producer. :smt023

 

Had a fun day with my two cuties. Went to the park then the beach n jus had chicken tacos for dinner.
