The only distorted body image I've seen from women who're overweight usually has them equating themselves with someone a lot larger than them in terms of body size.


I dunno how everything feels, obviously, but I've never personally met a woman who was large and didn't realize it. If anything most of em have always felt they were bigger than what they really were. It happens often with women of all sizes. My mom's a petite woman at 5'2, and even while pregnant she never went over 140lbs. yet she's always viewed herself as so overweight she'd act like she weighed 300.

I don't even get how you can decide how other people view themselves. You're not in their head. Just because someone has confidence doesn't mean they think they look like barbie.



All these arguments seem to come down to, from what I've seen, is guys getting butt hurt cause they feel that fat women think they deserve hot guys, and that fat women refuse to believe they're ugly and should instead settle for a fat guy,since we all know fat guys NEVER get hot women (can you feel the sarcasm?).

What the hell does it even matter, anyway? Is this some sort of crusade, an expedition to change every single person's mind and make sure everyone knows without a shadow of a doubt that these are atrocious double standards that fat chicks need to bloody account for?

It's stupid. Sure, we get the opinion. Lord knows we've heard a billion times before on this website. I completely disagree, but that's fine. I don't -have- to convince everyone I meet to my way of thinking because it doesn't matter, in the end, what anyone else thinks of my opinions.

I just don't understand why it must be hashed and rehashed then baked then fried, skewered, grilled, sauteed and put through a food processor all the damn time. No matter how many opposing opinions are stated no one ever gets anywhere and people just start getting nasty. Live and let live is a foreign fucking concept, and it makes me feel sad for the people who spend so much of their time and energy obviously stewing over such negative shit. And don't act like it's not -that- important just because it's on the internet...to actually go from thought to internet post means time was devoted, and for such passionate views I'd say a -lot- of time goes into it.


It's much nicer to spend one's time concentrating on pleasant things that make one happy, because it's really annoying to be angry all the time. It's even more annoying to spend time with people who are angry so much.

The term is so belittling to other women. It makes absolutely no sense anyway. What makes a woman a 'real woman'? I really don't get where they got it from. Men feed it to them as well. I've seen men around here saying how they love 'real women' when a fuller figured lady is posted.

I was prolly the happiest brotha I knew. I started talkin to her because of her big booty but she ended up bein a great girl and we fell in love. Sex was fanfuckintastic,she sure did know how to make her black man happy.

We went on alot of dates,sometimes to amusement parks,fishing, bowling etc... I did notice a few stares but I certainly wasn't going to ruin my happiness with that big booty for anyone else's opinion.

I get your POV, LS. I also don't like the term 'real woman' its akin to how BW say they have ass, as if WW have an empty hole back there. It's separatist thinking and alienates and divides women purely on looks.

Understand then that the men here and the rest of the world have also said that "slim women" represent the ideal BEAUTY of a woman. That's just as ridiculous and outrageous, no? So basically it boils down to 2 different opinions.
