NWA(group and solo members), Above the Law, Eminem, Foesum, Big L, Treacherous 3, Warren G, Ant Banks, Paris, DJ Quik, Immotal Technique are some of my all time favorite groups and rappers.

It would take all day to list all the hip-hop I listen to so I'll just list my recent favorites.

Recently, I've been listening to a lot of this:
Suga Free(quickly became a top 10 favorite rapper)
Devin the Dude(quickly became a top 10 favorite rapper)
    DJ Quik
    JT The Bigga Figga
    San Quinn
    EA-Ski
    Tonedeff
    T-Kash
    Geto Boys
    Scarface
    E-40
    Kam
A bunch of West Coast G-Funk and Mobb shit, even though I've been listening to this shit for a long time.

I don't shout that "real hip-hop" stuff anymore. It's either good, shit, or somewhere in between. At the end of the day, it's a part of the culture.

Whether you say it's rap or hip-hop, the dude is still rapping.

Listen to Big K.R.I.T - Wuz Here easily one of of the best albums out this year (you can download it on djbooth.net) thats southern hip hop at its finest.
Listen to Smoke DZA - George Kush Da Button mixtape thats easily one of the best mixtapes out this year.
Wiz Khalifa - he is mainstreamish but that dude has hella swag and great hooks. His overall lyrics are straight and he keeps it real because he raps about shit he does, he dont pose. His Oj and Kush mixtape was one of the best mixtapes of the year.
This a song off of Ski Beatz (dude produced Jay Z Dead President and a whole bunch of other ish) upcoming mixtape (he gonna use Miles Davis instrumentals for the whole thing) the dude in it is Nesby Phips

Yeah, the OJ and Kush mixtape was cool. Heard a few tracks. He's an average rapper but he's tolerable. Good production on that mixtape. Lot of old school vibes on some of those beats.

Thats the great thing about music, its very subjective. Sometimes simplicity is complexity.
