I betcha every woman on here has love for men who aren't "adonis bodied", but show us where to find the pics of them to post up and adore? There's a BBW market but there isn't a BBM market, purely cos women just aren't as visual I guess. Doesn't mean we don't love 'em!

And, unlike men, women don't scrounge around random facebook and myspace accounts collecting pics of cute guys, so there aren't any "amateur" shots to share either

I love how men try to sling that double standard on us because we have abs threads and forearm threads. As if they actually get posted in as much as the hot ww threads and the boobs threads and the booty threads!

There are dudes who dig my body, but then also post their "hell yeah"'s in response to skinny girl's pics. Does that mean they don't appreciate me too? Nope.

So just cos we may "adore" the hard-bodied models that get posted doesn't mean for a second we don't have love for the less perfect guys too!

Not quite saying there's a double standard. There are plenty of the Hot WW threads, no doubt. What I am saying is that men are more equal opportunity as there have been several BBW (what the fuck does that stand for anyway) themed threads and I can't recall a single BBM thread.

 

I've been to Africa more than a few times & it kinda depends on where you go with this particular view. In certain countries & specific locations, yeah you might get an over whelming feeling of the disdain towards African Americans.

I got love for a wide range of women...but if it makes me shallow to say that a girl with a D+, slim waist, & a nice ass (especially if it's approaching that coveted 43"er), then I'm as shallow as they get.

Yeah, I addressed that - As far as I know there is no BBM market, there are no BBM models, it just doesn't exist. And I'm willing to bet that's not because women don't find them attractive, but because women don't invest money into visual stuff like that the way men do. Just cos there's a wide variety of porn/sexual photography aimed at men and a smaller variety aimed at women doesn't mean men are more "equal opportunity"!

I could post up 10 pics right now of men I know personally who I think are highly attractive who don't have perfect bodies. And I'm sure every woman on this site could. In fact, I'm pretty sure DB or someone else did that in a thread a while ago... Unfortunately that crosses all sorts of personal boundaries and isn't appropriate... So you'll have to take our word for it

 

To a certain degree we are all very superficial. We all love the idea of fantasy over reality at one time or another but the trick is to not be engrossed in the physical or the material because its forver changing and always fleeting.

Fyi as I've stated before I think you're very pretty and I'm not saying for a big chick either. There are exceptions to the rule and you a few others are exceptions to mine.

I did...the person in the picture was my ex, and he knew I had posted it, but I did eventually take it down. It was to prove a point. And as I recall, most of the ladies here thought he was good looking, so there we have it!

There isn't a market right now for BBM, but if you watch TV, there are quite a few big guys out there.

You know what I found interesting...back in the day, I did a project for a women's studies class on pornographic mags. I compared Playboy and Playgirl. Talk about a world of difference...the girls in Playboy were all 'typical beautiful women'- thin, airbrushed, legs for days, big boobs.. generally all under the age of 25, and largely white, at least in the 6 months of issues I looked at.

Playgirl, however, had men ranging from 21-40, of all colors. One man had gray hair and crows feet, and he was sexy as HELL. In another issue, there was a BM, early 30's, in a business suit and I about died. There were also a few youngin's, but they weren't as prevalent as they were in Playboy. They even had a section for 'Real Men of Playgirl'. There were men in there of all shapes, sizes, and colors. What caught my attention was the emphasis on reality vs airbrush in the mens vs women's magazines.

I know, andrae. And I wasn't necessarily directing that at you, although some of the things you've said have been a bit hurtful. I know you aren't being malicious about it. There are others of which I'm not sure if it's maliciousness or youth that causes them to say things, but I suppose time will tell.

Shallowness makes me infinitely sad, though. There are so many things you miss when you're concerned with the superficial- the great convo with the 'nerd' at the deli counter, a laugh with the bbw checking out at the grocery store- that it makes life a lot less interesting and lot less rich. The only way to know someone is to speak to them...know their minds and spirits and hearts, and THEN judge them. Maybe I'm different in that I generally do this.. I try to talk to people before I make a judgment. That's why I can't imagine ever going off on a tangent about how I can't stand all (insert group of people here) and think it's OK.

I just meant it wouldn't be right for us all to start a thread for pics of dudes we know when the poor guys have no idea what's happening.

BTW, I was in a dif thread and someone posted this story of a newly married famous English couple, and as soon as I saw him, my heart just fluttered. THIS is the kind of body I also LOVE on my man.
