Oh hell yeah, but I;d be sneaking them. If you caught them, I'd look away. Def shy like that.

No shit, we all seem to be somewhat introverted here. Maybe this is why we are on this forum instead of in the bars.

    Introvert (most of the time).

Most of the time I see myself as a loner. I tend to be quiet & shy & I like my privacy. I've always been treated like an oddball/outcast. I've gotten a lot of crap about not fitting in, so I just kept quietly to myself. There are a few that I feel close to, but most people don't get me or know how to take me.

In college I was able to be a little more outgoing. Getting away from home, I was able to figure out who I was & I was free to be myself. I found a lot more acceptance than I'd ever had before and was able to come out of my shell. I did get a little too wild & crazy at times, but I still tended to feel the most comfortable alone.

I do let loose once in a while & get goofy & crazy! I have a twisted sense of humor & it's hard to keep it to myself sometimes.

With my job as a general manager, I have to be a little more out there. I have to deal with employees, vendors, customers, etc., so I have no choice but to be outspoken in order to take care of business. It's especially hard being female doing what I do, because I deal with a lot of people who don't take female managers seriously. That means I have to be assertive enough to kick some ass when needed! I try to be more outgoing at work, but it's nice to be able to lock myself in my office when I don't want to be bothered.

Overall I'm still quiet, shy & private. I'm content most of the time being alone at home sitting around in my underwear (or sometimes nothing) & doing my own thing. It's nice to be able to do that now that my son is grown & gone a lot! Now I'm able to concentrate on my own needs & not feel like I have to apologize for it!

    LOL!

The R rated things aren't the only things I do naked or in my underwear! I also read, write, get on the computer, watch tv, clean house, etc. You should give it a try if you haven't already!;)

Please note: it's not a wise idea to cook naked!

I think people's understandings of the terms extrovert and introvert are a little skewed from their real meanings. Extroverts aren't necessarily loud and confident and introverts aren't necessarily shy and quiet. It's about where you best find your entertainment and energy.

Is your energy, fulfillment, happiness, entertainment etc derived from other people or from yourself?

    I think that's a more accurate definition...

And I'm definitely an introvert. My enjoyment in life comes from within my own head.

The girl who's sharing my house at the moment is classic case extrovert. She can't stand to be alone, she seeks me out as soon as she gets home, she needs to share everything with me, I can't escape her! aargh! :smt073

I love this post. Great breakdown.

My BFF is like your roomie. She asks me to stay with her often to keep her company and I do a lot on my days off, and she is like your last paragraph. Diff is I love her, so I don't try to escape her, I just tend to listen a lot, lol.
