It is a wonderful song but it's so sad. Another beautiful but sad song that i just love is "I Can't Make U Love Me" by Prince, of course, from the Emancipation album.
They don't get my wife's panties wet, but they do set the mood for things to go down.
They were part of that brief R&B Neo Soul movement that went on back in the mid to late ninties. They both are from England. They put out a couple of CDs that did pretty well, but the broke up about a couple of years ago. The sister who did the majority of the singing , Marsha Ambrosius, is said to have hooked up with Dr. Dre's Aftermath records and should be releasing a CD at any time. Here is another song of theirs that both me and the wife like as well as a song that I believe will be on Ambrosius' solo CD.
Wow! Wow wow wow! The lyrics and that video...talk about a tribute to his wife! Very beautifully and artfully made. :smt038
i think the original holds up better over time, but the remix was vicious back in the dizzay.
sexy. here is one from amel larrieux formerly of groove theory (she is hot) neosoul was such a great thang for us...unfortunately people didnt appreciate the art of music and the soul of it
Music in general seems now a days to be less apperciated by people as an art form. Too many labels and artists are more into making money now rather than putting out some quality original and creative work. Too much cloned gimmicky and fad type stuff out now for my taste on the mainstream side of things. I either have to listen to the ol' skool R&B, Soul, Rap/Hip Hop or check out underground artists for any quality or creativity now.
OK, goodlove, I'm fairly certain that if someone's way of getting me wet was to put on Prince, I'd have to get up and walk out. lol
Just sayin'... I mean, nothing is less sexy to me than a little white boy with an Elvis hairstyle in tight leather and vinyl talking about sex....lol Part of me is like 'What the HELL does HE know?!' Love voices...deep voices..from Barry White to Timbaland. I don't care. Give me someone with a little soul in their voice and I'm a wet, writhing, whimpering mess. Just please..no Prince! lol
