Yes it would be interesting to see, but other then the privacy invasion factor thing,,, Denzel, Taye and Will made me sign a confidentiality contract so I can't post their pics....

    LOL!!!
    But in all honesty...
I would not have a problem posting half a picture or so of my X for a few (so that you cant see the whole face or something).
I dont see the harm in that... if its taken down fairly fast.
    Is that bad?

I don't get how it violates privacy especially with sites like myspace and fb where people post pics of other people all the time and people they don't know see it. So how exactly is this any different? Solo pics I could see that being a problem but if you're in it who cares.

Exactly that.. I dont see the problem either due to fb and whatnot....
If its ok there, why is it not ok here?

I was just being curious about peoples opinions due to the discussion in here:)

I try to be considerate. There was a pic of me floating around Facebook ......at a bar.......birthday party........had too much to drink. Very obvious in the pic. Several of my friends had it as their profile pic and tagged. I felt violated. Until they saw how mad it made me they didn't take it down. I told them had they asked first I would have said please don't. I always ask now before I put up pics of others. I removed all party pics from mine, as with employers and such snooping now, I don't want anyone in trouble on my account.

So to me if your ex is ok with having their pics here and you asked. Post away.

I swear we should all just hide in boxes. I'm not saying you're wrong for how you felt, its fineand understandable but it feels like we're all going to be signing disclosures for everything soon. What if the pic was taken at baseball game and put up on a sports article. Are we getting to a point where if we're not posing no pictures taken? I just want to repeat this isn't a judgement on you JC just our whole culture.

I agree w both JC and Andrae - I think its getting far to much if there has to be approval of everything for posting pictures.

If I have friends that are adamant of never being posted anywhere - well, if they are my friends I should know that and respect that.
I have a few that are across the line unwilling to show their face on line anywhere - so be it. But most people I know dont mind as long as its tasteful.

I have in a few instances asked a fb friend to take a picture down of me that I dont like however.
Just because I dont like the way I look - yes, its vain. But it has happend a few times:)
So given that, I always try to look at everybody in the picture and scrap the ones where its clear its unflattering for someone in the picture.

A few years ago I went to an MLS soccer game. I sat in a section where the rowdies were (best time I ever had at a game ;) ). When our team scored first they set off a smoke bomb and a picture was apparently taken by the teams photographer. In the middle of the picture is me laughing. Security took them away for violating stadium rules and then later the picture was used by the Rapids in a publicity brochure. :p Illegal smoke bomb and all. I guess by the disclaimer on the back of my ticket, I gave them blanket permission to use my picture lmao at being in a cloud of smoke.

FG sounds like you are considerate of others and their requests. :)

This video is truly the black preacher I can picture Tarshi with. This is a lovely, educated, well thought out, classy and uplifting sermon that can make ANY atheist a believer.
