Rick Sanchez: Jon Stewart A 'Bigot,' Jews Run CNN & All Media

CNN's Rick Sanchez made controversial comments on a Sirius radio show Thursday, calling Jon Stewart a "bigot" and saying that CNN and the other networks are all run by Jewish people. Discussing Stewart with radio host Pete Dominick, Sanchez said that the "Daily Show" host has a limited worldview, and called him a "bigot."

Oh man, I can't wait to watch the daily show on monday. I hope john makes a comment. No, the Christians run most of it. 1 out of 5 members in congress are catholics and 1 out of every 5 americans are catholic. Catholics have the lion share of government but that doesn't matter. Everyone thinks differently. The religion doesn't matter.

dude you beat me too it. I was just about to thread this. It goes a little deeper in what he is talking about and also should he had been fired ....

 

Jews invented Hollyweird, God bless em, and to put it kindly, represent only about 2-5% of the general U.S. population, but are over-represented in the media and financial services industry.

Think about it, if Hispanics ran the media and Rick went off like that, would he have lost his job?? Or have only been suspended with pay??

EDIT: His rant against Jon Stewart was off IMO. I still don't know if he deserved to get fired though.

Jon Stewart is a political satirist/comic/professional cultural cynical-optimist, not a bigot.

IMO Stewart is a truth teller, as best as he knows how to be.

I agree ....I got more truthful info from Jon stewart than the rest of them. Sanchez ( I watched his show everyday and liked it) got mad because Jon poked fun at him. what sanchez dont understand that comic poke fun at everyone.

he got roland martin good earlier this year for wearing an ascot. roland took with stride and joke along with him about it. Roland knew he couldnt hang with jon when it comes to the dozens. so roland poked fun at himself for it

Sanchez (who is only a minority by virtue of his last name, btw, since he obviously looks like any white anglo-saxon male) might have a point or two about bigots being represented on both left and right party, but I think he took it too far by stating the jews are not a minority group....
