I think nobody should feel guilty for dating a person because they are of another race. I don't think it's self hate if you have a preference for people outside your race. I DO think you have a self-hating mentality though if you CANNOT whatsoever find beauty within your own race.

i understand where your coming from Andrae. Similar situation with me as well many other brothers on this board and/or off . I personally am willing to date women of any background, provided she meets my standards. I am with WW most often, because i can't help it, i find them the most attractive. It hurts to have black females in your life whether close family or friends and make you feel guilty for not being with BW.
Yeah especially the younger ones because like it or not we're the ones they model relationships after but like I said before we can only make ourselves happy.
