Multi Dating

do you agree with dating more than one person(not talking sex with multiple peopel just dating) why or why not?

 

I think it is ok if you are not serious.

 

why not keep your options open? if you're not serious about anyone in particular i don't see the problem with it

 

just dating then i dont see a problem with going on dates with more than one guy so long as everyones aware of the situation

if you plan to step up to the next level and become intimate thats when it should move to an exclusive footing for me, i dont share

Andrae, I believe you can get the answer to your question by reading the original post. ;-)

If you aren't serious, then I see no problems with dating more than one person. Sometimes it takes awhile to figure out if a person you're dating is actually someone you want to get to know better. So why cut yourself off from having experiences with others until you know for sure that one of the people you're dating is someone you want to get to know on a deeper level?

When I was younger, I would never have dated more than one guy at a time. Now, I see it as not a big deal.

In that case date as many people as you afford financially and time wise.

 

Exactly, you must be open and that takes trust and communication upfront. I think it is best that way. I have had relationships that started hot and heavy and so we became a couple basically after that first date. There was always something wrong with those relationships however, I would later learn that the woman was on rebound, still in love with exes, insecure, etc. and so there was not real honesty upfront after all. I have learned that anyone can deceive themselves and so I don't think it was blatant lying but, at time it felt like hell to me.

When you keep yourself open you learn more about yourself and others. Without the drama. Being selective is good.

I have but I just dont work like that.. I make a decission very quickly in a case like that who I would like to give an honest try. I cant explain it but I just never could date more than one person at a time.
