I'm hearing a lot about this movie "Waiting for Superman". I'm going to check it out today. Any one else seen it yet? Is it really worth going to see? I'm told it's an indictment against those who want to keep the children of this country stupid to suit their own personal gain, mainly the teachers unions and some politicians. Did I hear someone gave $100 million dollars to New Jersey schools? If true they need to get rid of the dead wood teachers in those schools first before wasting all that money. My opinion only.
it is funny you put this up because I had watched MSNBC have a town hall meeting with teachers about the plight of education and then I just made a thread ( double edge sword education ) about 60 minutes on a school call seed where it is a boarding school for the inner city.
I saw your post. Bro, if you have a child give him or her all of your life into them. The world that is coming is going to be unforgiven. At least give them a chance to compete with the world. Make them the best they can be.
You are so rite on. I plan on teaching my child all the things I did rite and all the thing I did wrong and what I learned from them. Lastly I will teach her what I did learn in life period so she can have a much better life than I did. I wish someone sat me down and told me how to plan my life and avoid all the pitfalls
