I don't plan to. I'm paranoid by nature. I'm one who will stare straight at a person when walking away. I don't want no bullshit happening.

 

You know most of the great black singers and musicians even the old bluesmen came from the black church. I wonder if the fact that many black men have left the black church has had something to do with it. I remember going to church concerts when I was a kid and those gospel back up bands may have been better than most 'professional' groups. The men where great singers back then. I know a quite a few that died to young. A few that had substance abuse issues (slow suicide), others victims of violence. Some had health problems such as my cousin and best friend that lead to his passing when we were just 21, he was a great singer and musician. For some it was alienation like for myself.
