I've Got Questions, Do You Have The Answers Thread...

There are a number of questions I’ve had floating in my head that I have never received a good enough answer for so I’ll ask three of them yet again. If you have questions that you’ve never received a satisfying enough answer post them perhaps someone can give you something. Here’s my three off the top of my head…

Why do some people who spend 30k to 40k either leasing a vehicle or finance the vehicle never or very rarely wash their car? That baffles me to no end and it does not make sense. If you are going to spend that kind of paper on a vehicle why not wash it at least once a month? How do you allow a Benz, Jaguar or Audi to get soooo dirty? Is it a reflection on you as a person? Is your home dirty? Does it reflect your personal hygiene? If it’s your wife’s car why don’t you wash it? If it’s a status symbol why spend so much money if you are not going to keep it clean or wash it on occasion just buy a 20k vehicle?

Why didn’t you tell me…?
I don’t think anyone likes to be embarrassed but if I have a booger just dangling from my nose or the collar of my shirt is seriously misaligned why don’t people speak up? Hey fix your collar or hey wipe your nose, I would want someone to tell me either or so I don’t have to walk around looking like a fool. I am baffled as to why people don’t speak up? Is it a personality thing? Do you not want to embarrass the person; does it reflect your non-confrontational personality? Why do I have to look into the mirror and notice a huge dirt stain positioned where I may not have seen it yet I went all day speaking with co-workers and no one mentioned it???

Were you going to lie initially, did you just lie and now you are going to be truthful or were you not truthful the entire conversation nor will you be and you just tipped your hand? I understand it's ones of those quotes or sayings that people just say however that saying does not make any sense to use at all. To me it may to have a deeper meaning. Much like the saying "You know there's a lot of truths in jokes" Yeah there's is but to be honest with you I was just playing about what I said about you...

Why do you put 26s on a Chevelle or El Camino or any other classic car? Why do you put 26s on some beater ass scraper? You can't possibly think that 26 in rims look good on a 1500 dollar Oldsmobile or Buick. Those rims are more than the car, most of the time. Your turning has also gotta be shit with those big shits on there.

 

How much money is enough? Ten million? A hundred million? A billion?

 

This is me all day every day. I paid 25K for my Mazda 6, other 6 having the intake and exhaust, done, and putting in a turbo. Another 2k for the BASSS THAT SHAKES THE GROUND....I change the oil religiously, all work done on the mile, but I swear I rarely wash it. LOL...I wash it at the beginning of spring and right after each big snow to get the salt off. Other than that that joint is grimy as hell!

You know folk don't want to embarrass you and while you might want someone to tell you there are other people who catch a case of the ass when informed of any deficiency. I'm so damn forward I'll walk up to you and say "damn dog next time use a bib" and then walk off. LOL...but errrrbody ain't like Ymra.

Why do people say
"I don't normally do this" If it didn't take much coaxing or pushing to get you do so something do you really think I am going to believe you don't normally do it?

Ok...cheating is a selfish and cowardly act. People cheat for all sort of reasons but what is boils down to is....
the person you are in a relationship is not giving you you need.

you don't have the courage to tell your mate something is wrong.

....but to expect a person is going to coming to you and say "Hi...I hope you had a good day at work, well I'm going to go out and cheat now, I'll be back around 10" is just damn silly.

Drae I am not sure how your question fits into the theme of the thread? The basic theme is, questions you never found answers for that were satisfying enough that left you mystified. If you are just asking how much is enough, that depends on the individual...

I do this frequently, as well as using 'Honestly', or 'Frankly', all of those are my way of signaling that I'm about to be blunt about something. It doesn't signal I wasn't being honest before, but means I'm not going to make it pretty for you now. If I use any of those terms with my family, they brace for impact. Maybe that's the way people try to soften the blow a bit?

Andrae is absolutely right Malik, that's a warning that you might want to skip the next part. In person I generally use 'Honestly?' as a question before responding to ensure someone really wants my opinion. I did that with the lady who does my nails the other day, and she literally said 'Wait' looked at my daughter and said 'it's gonna be bad isn't it', then sat back took a deep breathe and said 'Okay I think I'm ready'...LOL... and I still shocked the shit out of her anyway. So I view it as a common courtesy to allow people the opportunity to stop me if they don't want to hear the blunt truth. Most people don't do 'real' very well in my experience.
