Then you came of age in the 90's like me. Back then we had Jodeci, Silk, Jagged Edge. I lost my V-Card to a 112 song. And even Brandi and Monica we're doing there thing back then. I think the problem was once the corporations realized that both Hip-Hop and R&B we're no longer fringe culture and the mainstream america was loving it, they pulled it into the Pop circle and watered it down. Even Bobby Valentino says R&B is dead right now.
