I guess Im confused but hopeful . I want to know really how australia really love black men see the following report: the entirety
You'd likely find that more racism exists towards Aboriginal Australians than to black people in general (and that racism is largely founded in ignorance as many white Australians don't even know any Aboriginal people...)... But even so, it feels like that racism is more covert and not really experienced on a daily basis. And still in no way more widespread or overt than in America. I really think people get the wrong end of the stick about Aussies! But for sure, come here and experience it for yourself. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised :smt102 What can I say. Other than you shouldn't base your opinion of a whole country on something like that. I still maintain (in my experience) that Australia is less racist towards black Americans than America appears to be. Bottom line, you have to come here and decide for yourself!!
gorgeous, i've stated this time and time again & it appears to be falling on deaf ears. unless people who say that australia is a racist country actually come over here & experience it for themselves, they'll never know...!!!
Yeah, isn't it interesting how it's people who've never been here that bring up past policies etc and try and label us as an island full of bigots, but those who actually do come here go home with rave reviews!!
I would say fly solo cos you won't want the competition, but then I thought better... BRING YOUR BOYS!
There's plenty of Aussie love to go 'round, Smooth! Just make sure you bring YOUR boys too (I'm realising the whole "competition" thing is going to work against us ladies...!)
what whiks said smoothie...plenty of aussie love to go round & bring your male mates with you....!!!! now who else can we convince to come over...???
I enjoy a podcast from a guy called tariq nasheed and he is a big afrocentric person and on his podcast he talked about his experience in australia . he stated the following: 1) He was shocked at how very few black folks lived there but at the sametime how nice and welcoming the white folks were. 2) he saw how tuff the Aboriginal Australians had it. 3) He suggested black men to visit australia because it was cool.
i've never heard of him gl, but i would agree with all 3 points. i guess the native americans still get treated poorly as well from what i was told when over there the other month.
it is a podcast call macklessons.com . it is pretty cool. sometimes he goes off on a tangent about race issues that sounds divisive and then he does race issues that are very sympathetic towards whites. example he was going black women about where are the good black men statements. he was basically stating that "if blackwomen stop doing slick shit maybe they will committ to you. I dont blame brothers for dating white women because they are looking for a good relationship. so go where you can find happiness" he didnt say it word for word like that but that was his thang. he speaks his mind so you have to take him with a grain of salt. he is not that inflammatory but he does at times make you think. he is however very entertaining. he gears himself more towards dating issues. he is very prob-black in his discussions about history and social and current events. so it is not all about how to get women. It is about 50/50
It is even way less racist in NZ than Australia. We are all so used to getting along that it's quite a culture shock when I visit North America and find it like that.An interracial couple would not even be glanced at here. Our rate of intermarriage is the highest in the world.
Hi Annabel we haven't had the pleasure of 'meeting' yet but, just want to say welcome. I have become a lover of the women 'down under' and since you are neighbors. I am sure we will become fans of one another as well.
Thankyou for that.I am already enjoying the stimulating comments here.We enjoy a friendly rivalry with Australia. We feel a little overshadowed by our big brother.
