Does hard to get still apply in online dating ???

Before I learned my lesson, I had talked to two guys that were crazy. They both exhibited some red flags in their initial emails to me, but being the nice person that I am, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. I will never do that again. LOL.

One of them, when I was on the phone with him, told me that we should take a walk in the forest preserve and then he said he'd hit me. And then I STUPIDLY gave him my Yahoo IM information (whilst I was having the conversation with him on the phone) and he accused me of getting naked in front of a webcam and even tried to view my webcam.

Needless to say, I blocked him, but then a couple of weeks later, he IM'd me (apparently I didn't block him correctly, since I'd never had to do that before) and when I didn't answer, he called me a jackass. :smt081 Then I learned the correct way to block someone and I did that. He hasn't bothered me since, and luckily, I haven't received any phone calls/texts from him.

The other guy couldn't keep the fact that I had a daughter and not a son straight in the same phone conversation and then he caused a TON of drama in my life via text messaging and emails through the site. I finally had to block his profile so he couldn't contact me anymore, because he contacted me a couple of weeks after we stopped talking to ask if I wanted to try again. Uh no. He acted as though I was desperate and that he was doing me a favor by talking to me.

Needless to say, his profile was blocked after that.

And after those 2 experiences (that happened early on in my online dating life), I was a lot more careful with who I gave my personal information to, and I made sure I didn't get any weird feelings about anything they said via emails through the site. I decided to finally stop being so nice and started thinking with my gut reactions. :smt023

 

used correctly online is a great way to screen people. like you are doing. the other thing at least for men. it could be a great way for guys who are shy to meet women. shy versus not being confident could be one in the same but to me there is a small difference.

seriously tho, this place is like the Wal-Mart of coochie stores...

you can come in, get a good laugh in one end, blow a dutch with a homie in the other, then get some shorty's number in the center and get some tail at the door.

 

the hardest way to mack up on a woman is at a store ( at least to me but it is my favorite thing to do) because you have to be at split second ready to say something and no fucking cover charge.

I like doing it because that is where you meet women all the time. stores and what not. Also work is a hard thing to do because of the possible repurcussions of it all

 

i havent really got down like that at work, because i know they talk. You hear them talking about their ex's and shit, then they holler at u. Now...you should KNOW what's going to happen next. They're going to talk about you and everything you two do. Work has enough drama on its on. :smt028

I know plenty of WW who obviously like black men where I work. But at the same time, there are a lot of white guys around, and black women (who have made it known to me they cant stand brothas with WW), so you kinda keep your head on a swivel when it comes to that. Last thing I need is some crazy jealous coworker on my six.

I experienced that shit first hand. Someone ratted me out for it and said it was sexual harassment. I was fired by an old ass WM and a bitter-as-fuck BW.

but to be fair, he was warned by his manager the first time
