It *is*.....you'll have to concur...the ONLY commercially released song for The World Outside of Australia that refers to "A Vegemite Sandwich" in the lyric..

There's always the ORIGINAL Little River Band and their two jams from their Eponymous 1975 Debut..

"THE MAN IN BLACK" & "STATUE OF LIBERTY"

    My 2 ALL-TIME UBER-MEGA-ULTRA RAVE-FAVES from that LP!

So many people have such a phobia of trying something new cuisine-wise..

Now, you'll NEVER get ME to have ANYTHING to do with the Durian Fruit. I'm told it has a smell somewhat like a cross between old, dirty socks and fresh vomit...and the taste is strictly for Maylasians and NO OTHER individuals..

They even have a Durian Milkshake at their local McDONALD'S there...

They *do* get SOME foreigners requesting it out of curiosity...but not many...

...and, flyingeek, by the same token, you'll NEVER get ME to try ANY iof that svartsoppa!

Enny of YOU out there wanna know 'bout what it is...

    YOU ask her, man!

    Well....um...yeah.....however the gal I'm wed to...well, that's a different story..;)

    'Nuff Said!!!!

lol so THAT was what the big surprise was. Having John Travolta as your pilot is smooth as hell too. :)

I always thought he could fly..I remember seeing him in 'Look Who's Talking' as a pilot and seen something about him flying stuff for real. That's sick lol

    Oh, HECKY yeah!

For GENERATIONS .. it has been WELL-KNOWN that ANY artiste can take a cover version of an ORIGINAL and SCREW IT ALL UP BEYOND REPAIR!

But THESE guys took the REALLY SUCKY ORIGINAL by something called Lipps, Inc.....and turned it into a MASTERPIECE!!!!!

Which reminds me of the time that HELEN REDDY covered a BILLY JOEL tune on one of her LP's..

A few months later JOEL, in concert, introduced the song with:

"Well, this is a song that I wrote...and that HELen reddy cut....to SHREDS!

After which, REDDY telegrmmed JOEL that she'd never do another one of his songs ecver again..

    JOEL shot back with:

"Is that a THREAT, or a PROMISE??"

    ROFLMAO over that one!

I take it you refer to the original done by something called Lipps, Inc.

Sorry, m8, I stand by my assertions.

Made me damned near lose my lunch Back In The Day...and I *STILL* lose me appetite if I have the misfortune of hearing it to-day..

Still & all, I'll just let ya remember the famous quote from Voltaire....

    I need say no more..

No! What? It's an Aussie classic! :D

I remember being in a nightclub in Paris while on a Contiki tour and they played Land Downunder. All the Aussies from my tour went NUTS! It was so much fun! hehe

    yeah so it says...

which is still pretty cool, given the fact that he's an A-list celeb that just happens to 'fly' planes. I grew up watching the man...sorry for geeking out

    :p

id have to ask him to do some disco moves from Saturday Night Fever

I think it's great that actors take on other careers too, I was amazed when i learned that Steven Seagal was a Police Officer and has been for twenty years.

And don't worry I use to watch all of John's movies too, so I am just as geeky then.

yeah i didnt know Seagal was in Law Enforcement like that...

I think he has a reality show or something...

I think Shaquille O' Neal is a cop too, lol.
