I think Torque meant that because the state of Iowa isn't really diverse and cosmopolitan like New York, California, or Florida; he was taken back by those girls interest. Those girls probably only seen Black men on TV.

Very reasonable. I admit that "small town USA" is on a different frequency...

:smt042 Saying someone is corn fed in the parts of the midwest I lived in can be an insult. Are you being facetious??

Can't go by what you hear. Hell, I "heard" aliens exist and there's life on Mars, but I aint seen them mofos yet...lol

Instead of going by what others tell you, why don't you find out for yourself?

    Sometimes

It is not how "hot" the girl looks but how she looks. There are some WW that just have a certain look about them that indicates they ain't went Black yet, if ya know what I mean.

I often travel to Indiana,Wisonsin, Iowa, and a few other places, and the few times that I have said that to a woman or girl (of course not as a pick-up line, I'm not fuckface), I had no problems & were not talking about low class ladies either...but that's just my experience.

Now that you're telling me some people take offense to that, I think I'm going relinquish that from my vocab lol.

Well, I'm into punk and biker chicks, what's wrong with that? Let women have their liking in their taste in men. Not every humans are created equal with same liking to their interests, you know?

I'm an Indiana-er and I have never been called corn fed. Where does this come from? What does it mean?

I've only heard it used to describe folks from Nebraska. I ran Track -but, I tried to "walk-on" the Northwestern Wildcats Football team. I'm in the Varsity Weight Room with a "F--k Michigan" T-Shirt on (sorry jenny), and this lineman who I discovered was from Nebraska - is like "hell yeah!!" As he approached, he kept getting bigger, and bigger, and bigger, and bigger...

It would be the equivalent of saying they are "big boned" or plump. I would slap you if you said it to me. ;) I don't look cornfed in anyway though so doubt you would.:smt042

For the record born in Illinois but lived in Missouri and Iowa too.

See, I've only heard it used in a positive light. "She's corn fed," from the country & she's thick/has a nice shaply body, that some people attribute to diet. Similiar to a black chuck getting her shape from "soul food.". Obviously people take it differently. Where abouts did you call home in Illinois?

You know, it might be a city thing, maybe it's the city boys callin the country ladies this. Come over to the city & I'll call you corn fed ;)

I'm telling you they will take it in a bad way. Strike it from your pick up vocab

I asked my girlfriend who has live her whole life in Iowa I called her and said if someone said you look like you have been cornfed would you take it nicely or as an insult. She stopped and said you know this. I said just say. ;) And she said insult. She said means you are big or puttning on weight.

    I'll get on that. ;)

A quick research period, contacting a friend of mine, google, & urban dictionary yeilds a more negative connotation as well. I like the Urban dictionary descriptions the best. Damn, & I liked that term as I used it.
