Since I'm writer myself. Thus it has failed to met my exception. I know fans are picking this movie up, just because they want to see Christina Ricci in the action. It was very poorly written. Thus they gave the movie the two thumbs up? I don't understand at some certain level, but I has to be caution on this film, you know? It was poorly marketed. Just how in the hell did they gave this movie a green go? I wish there was more to it. Like very emotional movie. This movie just doesn't make sense to me. You'll have to forgive me for being criticize the movie myself. Does this movie make sense to you in some way?
Made plenty sense to me. An extremely religious man takes in a misguided sex addict and whips her(chains her) into shape. I thought it was a cool movie(and no, me liking the movie has nothing to do with the fact that the lead actors are a black man and white woman or some other corny shit). As far as writing, I can't really spot bad writing most of the time unless it's just complete shit. I never expected much, so I wasn't disappointed like I was with something like "The Dark Knight".
I Liked It. The IR implication was ok but they didn't have sex. Also, the music was pretty good...I like the Blues. Guess it depends on what you're looking for in the movie.
It is aiight flick, nutin to write home to mama about. Sam could have done much better film, he is just tryin' out all characters.....
It was a very good movie.....that's it. My friend overhyped the shit out of it. If he hadn't have done that, I wouldn't be as disappointed. He was going on for, literally, weeks about how this was the best movie ever. I watched it and enjoyed it like I do an average movie. Something cool, but wouldn't watch again.
IMO... the movie was edgy to say the least & maybe could have worked out better but it didn't unfortunately. Also I have to admit that I was pretty impressed with Justin TimberFake's performance believe it or not.:smt107 I thought he did a pretty good job considering he's sort of new in the acting game.
