Even if it is, that's not going to matter. If a bisexual guy wants to marry a man nobody is going to say "Well, you could be comfortably married to a woman since you're bisexual, so we're not going to let you get married".

exactly...the way i see it, we shouldn't have a say in this matter...it's between the two consenting adults

Of course I see all kinds of things WRONG with it, can I prevent or stop it? Should be it illegal? Okay if you make that illegal why stop there? That's called a Slippery Slope. There is already all kinds of "shame" in society for doing this, I think that's enough.

How is it a slippery slope making it illegal for you to marry your sibling?

If gay marriage is legalized, I'm going to enter into a polygamous relationship with two sheep, a chicken, a circus elephant, a bucket of mud, a 12 pack of Newcastle, a riding lawnmower and my 65 inch plasma screen TV. I fight my true desires by feigning interest in women everyday, but if gays and lesbians start marrying each other, I just won't be able to contain myself.

Slippery slope indeed. We're looking at the end of Western civilization here people. Wake up.

    is this sarcasm?

If not, again gene defects would happen if one contributes to interspecies sex.

    Exactly.

Same sex marriage and incest are in two different solar systems. The second (incest) is a great way to put a rapid end to human development in a painful and medically expensive way yet the first (same sex) is simply natural, as already mentioned, in the animal kingdom.

Because its already outlawed in the land of public opinion yet it still happens from time to time, when its discovered by the media anyway. Again it has nothing to do with me, what it has to do with my morality is unknown to me, I don't condone it, but society can't stop it either.

Its one of those The Horse Has Left The Barn already moments. As I said I am not interested in any of my relatives.

It Slippery because if we ban that, what else you going to go after you don't agree with?

Again, should you do it? No

Do people do it anyway? Yes

It isn't a slippery slope. It isn't banned because of a social norm. It is banned because it may kill people much like murder is banned and illegal. If two siblings are carriers of Tay-Sachs disease, they can have children and give good odds of those children getting the disease. This disease gives the child 2 years to live. We ban or make it illegal because it gives fatalities to children and/or genetic defects. Not because it is taboo or what ever other reason. It isn't a slippery slope to stop people from dying at an early age.

Making it illegal only reduces it. Truth is people are going to do bad things. This is one of them.

I don't believe that. Being straight isn't a choice, either. It just is. You ask somebody why they're straight, you'll hear, I just am. The same applies to gays.

Ayo BA, you're a cool brotha but I disagree with you man. People are straight because thats the way it's supposed to be. For humans to continue on we must procreate. Everybody has the right to be happy and loved but homosexuality is not the norm homie, same way incest is not the norm. If everyones ok with people of the same sex getting married, why not incest couples? Cant they be happy too?

Regarding the norm, norms differ from each culture and time period. I've heard of a culture where in order to become a man, the boy must suck his dad off. In Egypt, a lot of girls get the clitoris and other parts of their vag clipped off. That's the norm in their culture, but not in ours, just like incest isn't the norm in our culture, but many years ago, royalty would tdo that to "keep it in the family". Hell, 50 years ago, interracial relationships weren't the norm. Gays are a small minority and it may be some biological reason why somebody is gay(There are theoris n' shit, but not proven facts, yet). It's kinda like being born with an extra toe or something. Most aren't but some are, meaning some people are just born different. There's a lot of gays that say that they finally realized that they were gay, but for years before that, they were unsure of what they were because the norm in our society is to push everything manly onto boys, and they often say that they "didn't feel right" doing what they thought was manly, such as liking women. You could probably apply the same thing to transgendered people. A lot of them never felt like their biological sex.
