Well, since then, there's been a spike of men getting in touch with their "female" side, and more effeminate black boys. But, in general, nah. You can't blame all of it on feminism.

 

Ha, I saw this before. The answer is no. We just became smarter. I swear a lot women are always trying to dictate what a man does or is. Only a man can do that and only for himself. Come on, there are strong political and social forces that do not want the strong masculine male image anymore. Why do you think the Middle Eastern cultures hate our guts and do not want us imposing this feminized approach into their cultures? Osama Bin Laden once made reference to the West bringing in their whores (military women) into the Middle East to debase their culture. Wake up to reality of what is going on in our own culture and how the rest of the world sees us.

I agree on the clothes issue. I mean dudes wearing skinny jeans are seriously suspect.

Hell no, Im not touching my femine side what so damn ever. I will cry in private but damn it Im not gonna cry in public. Well only for the following reasons a man should cry:

1) death of a love one
2) death of his dog
3) spill beer.
4) Your favorite team lost due to a last second score that prevented them to go to the superbowl or winning the superbowl game itself ie...like the titans versus the rams superbowl game. that day I almost cried. In public no doubt
5) your rebuilt antique car got destroyed
6) spilled beer
7) you missed the superbowl
8) you missed the tail gate party before the superbowl
9) most importantly spill beer

the following reasons a man has no reasons to cry:

1) accidently chopped off a leg or any other limb . (you can however cry over your johnson)

2) your wife left you for another dude ( you can cry if she/he took your beer)
3) anything that has to do with baseball
4) anthing to do with basketball (except if your team lost in march madness then you can cry)

Instead of making asinine articles as to why some men are becoming more effeminate, why not just actually ask a effeminate guy instead of blaming it
on something like feminism. I'm an effeminate guy, and I'm proud to admit that. The reason how I became effeminate is simple, I was literally raised by women. Before I became adopted, true, I had to take care of myself because my family beat the living snot out of me, but when I became adopted, my sisters literally raised me. My mom and dad worked, and still work hellaciously long hours, add the fact that I had very protective sisters (primarily due to the past experience that I had with my family) and over time I picked up their traits. And when I say I was with my sisters all the time, I mean, ALL the time. We hanged out together, we did homework together, hell they even washed me in the bath when I first came because I was traumatized from my dad nearly drowning me by choking me in the bath tub.

So naturally I became more comfortable with women then men, and throughout middle school, high school, the navy, and now, the majority
of my friends have been and are females. If I know a woman, I can tell within the first 30 minutes if something is wrong or if she is on her period. I can handle long shopping tours no problem, and I have no problem going to the
grocery store to pick up tampons for a lady. But I can still curl 90 pounds, bench press 215, and squat 250. So those that want to hate on effeminate guys can take their archaic beliefs, and stick them straight up their candy asses.

hahaha well I don't wear skinny jeans, nor do I wear pink. But I wouldn't knock a guy that does. I do throw on purple shirts cause I like purple though. And of course I know I'm a man, my third leg is there for a reason. But the point I'm getting at is that being a man isn't how you act, it's what you are. Are you born with a penis? Can you get a chick pregnant by not using a condom? You can? Than you're a man, it's not about ridiculous stereotypes, which essentially varies from country to country in the first place. What's considered manly in America may be consider feminine in Spain, and vice versa. So in the end, on a country that is suppose to value individuality,
quite worrying about what other people doing and just do you. This country always wants to claim we are self success and independent, yet are quick to the second to try and conform people to "society's standards." Give me a break.
