Yep. Cleopatra's father was also her uncle, and likewise her mother was also her aunt. Despite all the incest the Ptolemaic dynasty was able to rule for centuries after Alexander died. But there's definitely health risks even if the genetic consequences aren't blatant or immediate. Homosexuality has its health risks also, but these are mainly downplayed for the sake of gay positivity I believe.

You nailed it on the head. Live and let live! One of the main reasons that homosexuals will never get peace though is because of the Bible. The Bible is rife with religious intolerance, sexual intolerance, and xenophobia.

Maybe if we lived in old societies with royalty, then we'd have no problem with it, since that was what a lot of mufuckas did, keep their royalty "in the family".

i don't see how you compare homosexuality and incest. with incest there is a risk of pregnancy which leads to genetic defects. when living in england i worked for the nurses in the nhs who looked after families with special needs. there was one village which was very well known for their 'inbreeding' and the nurses spent a lot of time down there because of it. i also believe that incest is a choice. you choose to go down that path because you're attracted to a family member compared to being gay where you don't choose to be gay, you just are gay. i don't believe for a second that people choose to be homosexual as we don't choose to be hetrosexual...it's just how we are.

    incest comes down to choice.

    I disagree.

Homosexuality is a choice as well.

There are people born with biological predispositions to homosexuality but there are also people who chose to be homosexual as well as heterosexual.

    For instance, bisexual people.

bisexuality isn't homosexuality though. my best friend growing up came out to me when we were 21. she said that she had always found both sexes attractive. she met and fell in love with a woman in england who was gay. my friends partner has never been with a man, has never wanted to be with a man, has only ever found women attractive. so the way i see it, my friend is bi-sexual, her partner is gay.

Bisexuality is sexual behavior or an orientation involving physical or romantic attraction to both males and females. It is one of the three main classifications of sexual orientation, along with a heterosexual and a homosexual orientation. ...

Homosexuality someone who practices homosexuality; having a sexual attraction to persons of the same sex. sexually attracted to members of your own sex

I was hoping I wasn't the only one that knew that the attraction isn't just physical.

Never met someone who made a conscious choice to be gay, bi or straight.

but you have met people who have acted on their homosexuality, bisexuality or heterosexuality. That was a choice. Society doesn't really care about conscious thoughts that stay thoughts.

Sexuality is not a choice but who you choose to give your lust of love of attention to is.

sexuality is determine by hormones and not conscious decision.

innateness is only an argument used justify it's action. Does it really matter why or how someone became homosexual? I personally don't have a problem with them getting married. It's not a huge stance I take, but I certainly don't argue for Homosexual marriage on the basis of homosexuality being natural or not.

Tell you what tho...if you got twins like Liquid_Swords, that type of incest should be legal, filmed, and sold on Adam and Eve

My sentiments exactly, man! That's what I said it all along. Marrying sister or brother is a deadly sin against before god's eyes. But in the past, that once did, they thought that it's all right.

So now we know why it's very wrong to have sex nor marrying your sister or brother. How gross. :smt078
