Their text and cell time BILLS must be huge.

Though I wish there were a study of how much African-Americans use the internet for study and research.

I guess I'm asking too much.

talking on the cell isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's not as intellectual as what you're asking for...

so yeah, don't hold your breath on that one (they could survey students and get results if they wanted to)

speaking for myself, I use the net for everything. As long as the site is credible, you're making things easier on yourself. I rarely even read paperback books anymore. the information is real-time and easily updated

Well, considering the monthly price of smart phone ownership, some bills are huge.

    ...and the introductory post therein...

...for *one* aspect of the 'not intellectual' part of which you speak...

    So true.

But I *still* prefer the tangible ...*solid*....hardbound (or paper...if hardback is not around) format/medium..

And I miss ALL of my 1,700+ (mostly) hardbound tomes...and 90% of all else that I owned...that perished in an Albuquerque, N.M. fire in 1999.:(

no offense, but you come from an older generation

elementary schools are changing over from handwriting instruction, to typing..plus you have the Kindles

people like you are going to become obsolete.............BUT...people like you usually save the technological world with your tradition, once our machines and advances give way.
