What does the world think of The United States of America?

I believe the two party system was set up for the whole "checks and balances" idea so that not one party can run this country into the ground.

However, it's morphed into senators and representatives who act more like children: I won't let them get their way because I can't get my way. He touched me. No he touched me first. MOM!!!!

That's what our government has turned into. The parties NEED to work together and come up with compromises.

 

I use the term savior because the Democrats I've met in my life all think that the Democratic Party and ONLY the Democratic Party is the answer to all of Americans' prayers.

I'm stating that it's not true. Democrats are not the answer. Nor are Republicans. Both parties have too many problems for either one to be the answer.

 

That's why it's so f-ed up that Republicans and the Tea Party aren't offering any viable suggestions. In other words, the American people are looking to them to assist in the cleanup of the mess the Republicans created - and they aren't doing sh-t; nor are they suggesting sh-t. All we can rely on the Republicans for is trying to incite a race war. The only thing the Tea Party has provided is play time with "Caribou Barbie".

 

You mean both parties are owned by Wall Street.

 

But one party is more owned by Wall Street than the other.

I will go with the lesser of two evils. Guess which party that is?

 

Republicans are sucking off Wall Street and the Oil Industry at the same time - while screwing the American people in the rear... The Tea Party is holding the video camera.

 

I'll go with neither.

 

And all they have spent on bailing out all the big businesses they have...I wish I could imagine them having enough sense to help their own country...
