Consider for a moment that some people aren't governed by the need to control others. Some people aren't governed by the need to dominate. I like many others am concerned with being the best that I can be. But I have an earnest desire to talk to real people. That is the purpose of this thread. Any real people out there?
I don't think many others are concerned with being the best that they can be. I don't think many others have taken the time to stop and figure out who they truly are in the first place. We live in a society of influence and illusion. Beginning with the subconscious subtleties like the swagger in our walk or the way we talk. To the more conscious efforts like our style of dress, and our musical tastes. The majority of us are products of our environment and because we spend so much time defining ourselves or trying to fall in line with our immediate environment it doesn't even occur to step out of that line and find our own path. Sooo yeah, generally speaking, I don't think we are so much concerned with being the best that we can be as much as we are concerned with being who we think people think we should be. And we'll never be the best that we can be without first discovering our individuality because the best person that we can be is not limited to predefined parameters... we are at our best when we are constantly evolving and constantly exposing ourselves to new experiences.
damn ur on pt with some shit. people dont take the time (i was guilty of this) of setting goals for what they want in life because they have not assessed what they like to do. then they dont have a plan to achieve those goals thus they are just floating thru life. they pray to G-d to give them happiness when it is them to make that decision

I sometimes have that "It is what is outlook", but that's cause I look at things honestly, yet the people around me think I'm being negative.
I don't understand why the two are mutually exclusive. I see a train wreck and describe what happened yeah it was negative thing that happened but I'm also giving an honest account of what happened.
