It's because we are wise enough to know that men are men, and that nationality has little if nothing to do with it. Andrae, you haven't been here long enough to know the hatred DJ has spewed about American women over the years to understand why I posted the way that I did. If it had been anyone else, I wouldn't have posted at all. You may feel that way too, but at least, every post you make isn't about how awful American women are. If you posted the way that he does, I would tell you to start packing too. If I generalized and stereotyped black men the way that he does American women, I'd be banned from the board. I'm just tired of it. If he thinks it's so much better in another country, why is he still here?

Well I'll play devil's advocate and entertain the question

Benefits:

1) Less Corruption than many countries in Europe(especially Eastern Europe), Latin America, Africa, and Asia

2) Bill of Rights.. don't sleep on this

3) Though racism prevails, there is a Life opportunity. If you are willing to educate yourself, network, and move your ass, you will be rewarded with a salary above the national average, and a lifestyle better than 98% of the world’s population. Money will not be a problem as long as you live within your means.

Also if dj4monie wants foreign women fine, he doesn't necessarily have to move over there. He can travel and bring back his wifey to the states without the American mentality :grin:

If someone is that miserable here and the only thing that they can say is negative things about the country and the women in it, it seems to me that you have three options. One, you can move to the country of your dreams; two, you can either work to change the things you don't like; or three, you can shut the fuck up and stay here. There is no utopia on earth. All places have their problems, and all of them will because when humans become involved, perfection goes out the window.

It may sound like I am writing off an entire population, but I'm not. I just feel my scope is limited for variety of reasons.

There are some sad men in this country, sad enough to write/email Skky John for his opinion. Men are just as much to blame for their stories of Woe more than Women are.

But my biggest problem is our political discourse and culture.

 

Actually I know many a Foreign Woman that sees our culture from a far or up close and says that shit is crazy. I'll give you a few examples -

Heidi Montage, Michelle Bachmann, Heidi Harris, Nadya Suleman, that crazy bitch who wanted some Chicken McNuggets and my personal favorite in our post-racial America.

These are the parts of American Culture along with Consumerism and Materialism that most Foreign Women reject, completely. You have to remember they see our culture from a distance and compare it to their own. Its not like America where people make up assumptions about cultures and people that never met, has GG ever spent anytime outside of America and I don't mean Canada where the culture is interchangeable?

When I say that I am just an American in most parts of the world, of course being an American White Women you don't understand the magnitude of that simple change of identification. American men believe it or not are viewed very favorably or couldn't you tell by the Foreign Women on this board.

I would say our mothers have done a fairly good job in general. Most American men have manners, want to court women and want traditional families adjusted for a modern world. All that means is Family comes first, not second to Career, not second to wealth generation. Husband and Children are on the same plane and Career becomes a distant second.

Other cultures afford a bonding period for women with their infant children. Next time your in the voting booth and want to vote for a typical Republican, think about how much paid time off you get to care for your child. What really bothers me is throwing up of the hands and dealing with the Status Que as if you can't do nothing about it. I can't stand that and that's a trait too many AW/AM seem to share.

This foolishness is beyond ridiculous and it comes from both sides, Anti-Russian rants from uninformed nigglets who don't even have a passport and never spent any time outside of their own State let alone their own country.

Rants of me and others being desperate because I choose not to take what's given too me. I give reasons why I believe some European Women are better and instead of bring proven wrong I get repudiation which is a typical American response not just one that women have. The level of jingoism on this web site is laughable at best considering our entire society spends its time on unimportant culture wars and not on things that would fix the completely unfair, racially bias, misogynist, class warfare that's constantly waged against a population that largely doesn't know any better.

And Girle Girl this is five years after Katrina hit New Orleans and you're stupid claims of post-racial South are constantly blown up by a wave of news reports. The latest being the Nettleton Middle School in Mississippi and of course the massive cover up of police murdering Black Men during Katrina.

So when you can bring some real ammo to this discussion you let me know.
