When I do have a kid I would not what him/her to be home schooled not that I have anything against it for the parents that decide to have there kids home schooled I just don't that for mine. I feel that if a kid is home schooled they will be missing out on alot in there childhood such as interacting with other kids, school dances, school sports and so many other things that a kid should experience in there life.

No, I want them to be in regular school. I want them to have friends n' shit. As much as I hate all 13 years of school, I had a damn good time because of friends(and field trips).

Definitely Not Home Schooling....Children should learn in an environment away from home. Many fond memories I have from school.

No, I'd like to send them to school. I think they need the social interaction....

School is about so much more than just learning to read and write. Home schooling without genuine necessity is denying your kids a WHOLE lot of valuable life experience.

I want my son to be in a school setting with other children for his interpersonal and social development. In addition, I will provide a rich home enviornment for him (or her someday) to learn beyond the school setting with others. Life-long learning must be emphasize. There are several kinds of learning a parent must take hold of for their children to be complete human beings.

I would home school if possible. I think I could do more for my kids education than the school systems right now. One thing that I noticed while growing up is I didn't like the pace the teachers taught. Some subjects like math and reading took no time to master but certain subjects like Chemistry and Earth Science required a little more time. As far as interaction with other kids I think sports and after school activities will be good for that. The only time I really interacted with kids when I was young was recess and lunch time. The nuns kept it pretty strict otherwise. No talking unless spoken to kind of environment.

Yes and no. Every single kid I went to school with went to college and works. I think I'm doing the worst out of my class right now so it has its pros and cons like public school. I did envy all the amazing programs you guys had.

That's cool. I'm sure my old school does too at this point but when I was in hs we didn't get to do internships or college tours.
