Trust, I have no desire to see man-pics, but this is a bold statement for us to accept without verification.

you do need the vitamins and minerals you can get from healthy foods, or simple vitamins. A bodybuilder coworker of mine used to tell me about the advice he was given by others, because he always had trouble with his muscles. I know Potassium is one helper, which you can get from fruits like bananas. A multi-vitamin would probably do you good tho. They're simple and easy to take if you have a busy schedule like myself, where you can't really just sit at home eating right. I generally usee GNC mega men, although I have used Men's One-a-Day in the past.

I never had any problems with myself tho, so I'm not sure how much help I can be. Referring to case studies or advice from other athletes that are coping with similar problems, would probably be the best thing to do.

We focus so much on the physical aspect of lifting, that we forget about the science that goes into recovery, growth, and maintenance.

Also, if you're a distance runner, I would lay off creatine if you have been using that for muscle, as I did read that it's been triggering cramping over long cardio periods.

in the winter i bring it inside and get my treadmill on. i might try to gear up and stay outside this year tho. always feels better to run outside instead of stationary. and i'm like you, i prefer to run in the morning. feels great to start the day with a fresh run.

yea, recovery and maintenance... very important. i take a multi-vitamin daily, just to help maintain as i age anyway. lol and normally chew down half a powerbar before i start my run. but i will definitely look into the potassium. i can't stand bananas, so i'll have to get my supplement on.

thanks for the info, y'all.

LOL, actually when we are considering a new hire we always ask the question "what comic strip/cartoon did you/do you enjoy reading/watching?"

It usually catches people off guard and their answer usually gives us a good insight into their personality.

Jordan, I have always respected the fact that you're a dedicated runner. I saw this article about Renee Zellweger running in Paris earlier this summer.

She looks so into her running that I couldn't wait to get out the next day for my morning run. I imagine you probably don't look a lot unlike her when you're boogeying down the road.

I actually saw those pics. When I looked at them I thought she turns her upper body quite far with her stride. :)

I like the elevation of her knees, especially when she is passing that baby stroller on the bridge.

looks like she's wearing cross trainers. those can be rather bulky, especially on long runs. (makes me think she's out for a short jog) lol
