Sorry babe, I object to that term immensely. I don't, nor have I, used men for anything. Truthfully y'all can't provide anything to me that I cannot acquire on my own, and I don't mean that to discredit men at all, merely to illustrate that clearly there's no need for me to 'use' you for anything. That's not to say that I see no purpose to relationships, I absolutely do. They provide that human touch, intimacy, a connection with another person that enhances life... but a person can survive without any of that, it's just a less enjoyable existence to be sure for some. Honestly the absolute best things a man can give me in a relationship are his time and sharing his thoughts, the things money can't buy and to which I have no access without his permission so to speak. I am always flattered when someone takes the time and has the trust to share themselves with me, because time is at a premium for most people and trust is even more difficult to acquire, so that represents to me a priceless experience. On occasion I think it's nice for everyone to know that they matter to someone else for more than utilitarian purposes. It shouldn't be about what someone can do for you, I think people that approach relationships with the 'what's in it for me' mentality will always miss out on the best parts of relationships, the unquantifiable qualities.
