What's going on with you 2.0?

Right now, I'm trying to focus on studying for the GMAT Exam.

Let's see here:
-I found out I don't have Fibromyalgia. I have tendonosis and some nerve damage from a few car accidents I've been in (huge difference from Fibro and thank goodness for 2nd opinions).

-I love my career (College Professor). My hours kinda stink but I love what I do.

-My son starts preschool again in a little over a week.

-I'm ready for summer to be over and the fall to hurry up and get here.

-I'm soooo glad football season is here!

-I was recently asked to be a Guest speaker for my profession at another College.

-My students nominated me for Teacher of the Phase.

As you see, I've been kinda busy lately. I'm truely blessed and very thankful for everything. Thanks for all the support!

 

You should do fine that test is so easy compared to the gre, lsat and mcat. Why people want to use the gre to get into business schools when the gmat is so easy is beyond me.

 

I'm not going to rain on your parade on this. Good luck! Question: do you buy the products from them? or is what you don't sell you send back?

 

I dyed my hair red again. It's a nice shade of super bright red right now with blonde bangs and blond underneath.

Bookworm love, if I can figure out which flippin lipstick it was that I wanted I will buy it from u. I got a sample of it and fell in love, but the text printed on the bottom is messed up so I can't read the product code. So I must do some detective work to figure out which one it is! I know the colour name but I'm not sure which lipstick it was.

If it weren't for the fact that I now know sooo many ppl selling Avon I would probably do it myself! I love Avon. I am trying to save up for a bottle of perfume, tube of lipstick, and this awesome mascara outta there. I think the lipstick is a good goal for now lol I adore "far away" though. It's my favorite perfume!!!!! I should make Nate buy it for me lol

 

I am back from jury duty. They let me go because of too many people. yipeee

No, I don't buy the products and sell them. I couldn't afford to do that. People order with me through a catalog or online and the products they order either get shipped directly to them (if they order online) or to me, and I'll give them their order (if they order through the catalog).

hooray...!!! i've never done jury duty, but knowing my luck, i'd be pulled in when they finally get around to the "underbelly" group

 

So, my 32 year old nephew delivers pizza as his job. He just graduated in June with a Master's Degree in School Psychology and can't find a job. He says that he's the most educated pizza delivery guy working at Pizza Hut. LOL.

Anyway, the other day I had to drive there to drop off a coupon. One of his coworkers asked him who I was. He said, "she's my aunt". The guy said, "she's your aunt? She looks younger than you!"

That made my day. :smt036

 

I'm not going to feel too bad for him. The first couple of months after getting your degree is rough. The loans come at you real fast. I know a physicist working at Burger king. That's what they mean when they say a mind is a terrible thing to waste. If he ends up at that job after 3 years then he is wasting his talents.

 

Ok I'm getting ready for school. I am getting some of these books. It looks like this semester is going to be mostly memorizing and no cognitive thinking. I think the computer science/engineer classes may give me a run for my money.

 

Well, he's had that pizza delivery job as his second job for years. And when he had to quit his FT job to work at a school for a whole year for his degree (basically the equivalent of student teaching), the pizza delivery job was his only available source of income. And now that he's graduated, he can't find anything.

I do hope he finds something soon, because yeah, $35K in school loan debt, plus a car payment and car insurance (in the very least) on a pizza delivery guy's salary? I don't think so. LOL.

Oh, and they issued a heat index warning for the Chicago area until 7 pm tomorrow. Curse the humidity!!!

my daughter gets tonsilitis every 3 - 4 weeks and they told me that they dont like removing them as it shows there doing there job of stopping the bugs travelling further ( not sure on that myself since madam also gets chest infections very freqently )

they told me they will only consider removal if they are found to be the cause for madams sleep apnea
