I imagine the uproar is due to that natural emotion a father would (SHOULD) have for his daughter. I don't have kids yet, but I know when/if I have a daughter, when she is born and I'm holding her in my arms, may there be a dark day in heaven and hell on earth before I ever look down and imagine her to grow up and submit her body to an industry that will chew her up and spit her out like bubble gum. To imagine an innocent spirit being stripped down to no more than pounds of flesh being manhandled like some tool on a farm. Yeah, I think we should have our hearts go out to Lawrence Fisburne. But may we have the same attitude about women in general and rememeber that, that is someone's daughter, whether they have a famous name or not. Nothing like leaving a legacy, right? Then I can see a person disregarding what family or friends think, but in terms of honoring a family name and considering all those attached to it, I believe in general people need to get back to honoring what will be left to that name when we no longer walk the earth. For myself, it is not a matter of people knowing who I am once I'm dead and gone, it's a matter of having accomplished presentable deeds if I am remembered.
