    if you had friends ( women you have GF's) and Bro ( your boys) dont get into IR's and or just outrite against it...how does it make you feel. What type of convo's do you have with them regarding as such. has it affected your relationship with your man/woman ?

    Hmm.......good question.

    It seems like all my friends love WW, lol. I would love to hear how someone would deal with this kind of pressure, though.

    i think its a bad thing to have friends who are outright against it. It says alot about your character that you can have a open caring friends with a bbf and then have other friends who are racist. yep i said racist, if one is out and out against love based on the color of ones skin that is the definition of racism. judging and basing treatment of someone based on the color of their skin

    Then ya might as well SPIT in MY face, too!

    After all, I *am* a product of THE VERY THING THAT *YOU* DISDAIN AND CAST ASPERSIONS AGAINST!

    With friends like THAT, you have ENMEIES to last you for a LIFETIME!

    it is funny you state spit in your face. read number 12: 1-15
    Numbers 12:1-16

    Aaron and Miriam Jealous of Moses
    12While they were at Hazeroth, Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married (for he had indeed married a Cushite woman); 2and they said, ‘Has the Lord spoken only through Moses? Has he not spoken through us also?’ And the Lord heard it. 3Now the man Moses was very humble,* more so than anyone else on the face of the earth. 4Suddenly the Lord said to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam, ‘Come out, you three, to the tent of meeting.’ So the three of them came out. 5Then the Lord came down in a pillar of cloud, and stood at the entrance of the tent, and called Aaron and Miriam; and they both came forward. 6And he said, ‘Hear my words:
    When there are prophets among you,
    I the Lord make myself known to them in visions;
    I speak to them in dreams.
    7 Not so with my servant Moses;
    he is entrusted with all my house.
    8 With him I speak face to face—clearly, not in riddles;
    and he beholds the form of the Lord.
    Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?’ 9And the anger of the Lord was kindled against them, and he departed.
    10 When the cloud went away from over the tent, Miriam had become leprous,* as white as snow. And Aaron turned towards Miriam and saw that she was leprous. 11Then Aaron said to Moses, ‘Oh, my lord, do not punish us* for a sin that we have so foolishly committed. 12Do not let her be like one stillborn, whose flesh is half consumed when it comes out of its mother’s womb.’ 13And Moses cried to the Lord, ‘O God, please heal her.’ 14But the Lord said to Moses, ‘If her father had but spat in her face, would she not bear her shame for seven days? Let her be shut out of the camp for seven days, and after that she may be brought in again.’ 15So Miriam was shut out of the camp for seven days; and the people did not set out on the march until Miriam had been brought in again. 16After that the people set out from Hazeroth, and camped in the wilderness of Paran

    what similarities do you see here and in the bible

    yeah, also the fact that moses (in the movies was a white man) married a cushite...an ethiopian (black woman) . you can get any blackier than an ethiopian.

    then miriam and aaron ran up on him talking smack using the position role to hide their racism. sorta like today. people use politics to hide their racism. and the fact they were upset he married a black woman. G-d got pissed because he was like I made all people and Moses is my main man and you are tripping. Yo, dog Im gonna have to put them thangs on you to make your realize who I am. Take note miriam was the only one who got struck.

    Most my boys don't care what race I or anyone among us date. They just care if she has a good personality and if she's hot. The latter more often than the former. They will not hesitate to say "what the fuck are you thinking baggin this bitch".

    And females friend, I don't discuss white girls with them if they are not white. For reasons you might already know. One black lady friend gave me that " Oh I see you like White Women huh" I immediately switch the subject lol

    Raul, why did you switch? If they are truly your friends wouldnt they share the values of equality and openness? why cant you share your Wgf with them, so they can be friends?

    I want to, but some of these women of color are not so understanding when it comes to Black Men dating outside. When I don't switch the subject, i'll say something like "I don't see race when dating, just the individual and their personality and looks. Its whoever I have a connection with". Which is the truth. I date and I am open to all ethnicities. They immediately give me that look like "Oh thats bullshit". The media already makes it seem like BM all want WW. So to have their friend in their circle exemplifying this, doesn't bode well with them.

    ok, i am curious , how are they your friends with this sort of attitude about race, espeically when you are so openminded to WW?

    i mean thats like a WM loving black women and at the same time having a friendship with david duke isnt it? what makes you all friends?

    and do you think these women are conservative republicans(the myth is that they are the racists). if they are liberal democrats why would they worrry about the race of the woman, arent they suppose to be openmnded?

    thanks for your interesting answer

    I am friends with them because our friendship doesn't revolve around who we each are dating. There are interests that we have in common. Also these are the type that wont say much when a BW is dating a WM. Just BM seems to be their business.

    My black female friends cannot be equated with David Duke. Thats an extreme comparison Tuckerreed.

    Honestly I believe the whole Conservative and Liberal cannot be applied to black people in America. To an extent Republican and Democrat also. Given the history. Conservative whites barely see Black as equals. Liberal whites more than Conservatives, but dont be fooled. Its all about power base and votes. I had a Malcolm X quote in the Australian immigration that talked about this. Black people in America need whole new classification. This is a whole other topic for another thread specifically about this.

    Just such a damned shame that a *lot* of American Black women are of that hateful mindset.....

    Beyond this, I shall say no more...

    The funny thing is that some of these same women of color will disparage a black man in a minute! I just don't know what to say about some people.

    Also since I am moderately attractive, have goals, been to college, and haven't been arrested also. Adds an extra string in their mind

    I have few friends. Those that I have are very supportive of me and the wife and son. My friends are beyond race.

    Ditto for me.

    It was a long, hard life battle, though...

    But it was--and is--worth it!

    And I'm sure that you are happy in the knowledge that, in regards to friends, it's QUALITY, not QUANTITY!
