Babies, Mellenials, Generation X and life

Until very recently in this country, if you didn't want children you didn't get married.

I see that as a very valid point, I see no purpose in getting married unless you want to have children.

You can have love and companionship without getting married.

I have seen it too often a man's hopes dashed and time wasted on some narcissistic woman doesn't want to have children for strange reasons. Overall I don't care and then muthafukrs wanna say I'm a moron for asking about children early in the dating cycle?

 

You don't have to get married to have children. The best reason to get married is for financial reasons.
There is a difference between asking that question and being in your 20's and asking that question in your late 30's and early 40's. Most of the people on the boards(according to the age thread) are in their 20's so we would say it is crazy while assuming you are in our age bracket. Once, we find out your age. We realize why you do it.

 

Did you just say financial reasons? Only to be wiped out in a Divorce? Did you fall and bump your head?

The ONLY reason for marrying is CHILD BIRTH/BEARING and for no other reason.

You can have companionship and love as I said without getting married. It makes breaking up much easier and much neater. Nevermind the common law wife rights that many women enjoy as well.

What financial reasons are to getting married? We have women over in the other thread talking about not sharing a bank account. The first level of any relationship is trust and its obvious they don't trust anybody, let alone some man they claim to love.

The only disadvantages to being single are loneliness and loneliness. Many men would argue that its cheaper to be single. So I don't understand this premise that marriage puts you in a better financial situation.

 

People can have babies without getting married making marriage worthless on the idea that marriage is for making babies. Since the beginning of humanity, Humans have been having babies without being married long before the idea of marriage was even an idea.

People can not get lower taxes for being married without being married. That is why it is for financial purposes. People can have babies without getting married. If you couldn't get married, would that stop you from having babies?
