Wow, well for one, we aren't a monolithic group. We don't all share the same ideals, morals, values and so forth. Thus, the question is invalid. With that said, I can break down "some" of the types of people we have here. We do have men here who dislike black women due to past experiences. We also have men here who aren't attracted to black women. Yet we also have men here who are attracted to all different races including black women.

We have black men here who dates white women exclusively, and we have black men here who dates everybody, and just likes to be on a forum expressing their love, adoration, of white women. Essentially, I'm not sure if this answers your question or not, but if it doesn't, than it basically can't be answered, cause as I mention before, we all are different people on here with different viewpoints.

With that said, I highly recommend taking it easy on these boards. We often get trolls of black women coming to this forum to interrogate, antagonize,
and reprimand the individuals on this board, often starting off with topics similar to this. They are usually banned within a 24 hour time span. Just to give you a heads up and a warning.

I am black and male, and not per se, i dont have anything against black women. Everyone is an individual and so i base my interest on attraction, mutual attraction, shared values and beliefs, and not based on color. It just so happens that the only women who accepted me for me have been WW, HW and women from other countries.

as for craigslist and what you found, there are also BW with ads there saying only seeking WM and WM seeking AW.

its not new or news, its been that way for a while now. everyone seeks to have their preferences and choose who they feel most comfortable with.

 

I am a black male and have absolutely nothing againist black women. I am friends with many of them but my preference in what I am attracted to is blonde haired, petite white girls. Nothing againist bw or any other women for that matter, its just my preference.
I have absolutely no problem with bw who only are into white guys with the all american look. If thats their preference...more power to them. Doesnt effect me in anyway.

Some black guys do have some issues & resentments towards black women which imo is pretty pathetic. I mean, what if you have a black/biracial daughter? Are you gonna talk smack about her too?

Agreed, I feel like the black men who openly have issues with black women and choose to date ww leave a bad name for all bm who choose to date ww and don't necessarily have any problems with bw. It's likely that that is where some of the name calling like "sellout" comes from.

Preference is just preference though.

 

I would certainly say that some of these responses have been qualified to a point where it's difficult to say that anyone on this thread is posting how they truly feel.

There appears to be a bit of baiting going on by posing such a potentially volitile question in the OP - and then giving a warning about consequences.

There's a few members that are notorious for posting nothing but bait threads, all the while having nothing positive to say about BM and WW relationships.

Stick around. You'll eventually pick up on who's who and when they troll.

I didn't come here to troll that's not my thing. I just came to inquire. It's just nice to see there aren't any BW bashing going on. And no I've never personally bashed BM or had friends do it either.

I wasn't on craigslist looking for a man. That's not safe in my eyes. I'm more of an observer of people so I like to look at things like that. I've seen really fucked up things on the internet with people bashing BW and how we're the least desirable race. Now I don't fit the mold with the attitude or looks per se but I still feel it.

 

Unfortunately we get a lot of trolls here that are BW and to my knowledge they have all turned out to be unpleasant at some point. I personally have no issue with anyone, including BW, however I will say were I to base my opinion upon the experience with those who've come here, it would not reflect well upon BW. I believe you are the first I've known who didn't try to push an anti WW/BM agenda in a really negative fashion. Truthfully I think you will find the majority of people don't have issue with anyone who comes here as long as they are respectful, it's those that are hateful and seek to incite that aren't viewed well, and unfortunately a very large proportion of those have been BW.

Check you out. The Flats and the Warehouse District are pretty much the same. It's the same cliqued-out corporate crowd. The restaurants and clubs are great but the people can be soooo lame. Cleveland is an extremely prejudice and segregated city - as you know with the East Side and West Side. I don't party so much in Cleveland anymore. I'm always going on road trips. I used to go to Great Northern Mall all the time.

And as a Native Chicagoan....having to contend with Cleveland after living in Chi-Town....was a DEFINITE Pain-In-The-Ass...for reasons ya already expounded upon..



One *chief* reason why Yours Truly opted to make England my current home....


Also, for the record...NOT to fan the flames of this thread, mind you....Cleveland, for the most part, was *not* welcoming with open arms towards me & me Interracial Parents...neither Black nor White residents.

Most (not ALL)....I want to stress..

Still and all, though the city is in my prayers...in mourning over the overall decline I've seen personally (on two 'reconnaissance' visits), and have read about in the news...I've not got any *real* good feelings about that fiefdom of the globe.

Not to keep this off-topic (sorry LA), but I've lived all my life in Akron and I have not found Thieveland or the AKwrong anymore unwelcoming of IR than any other city...and I've done plenty of traveling.

Please understand I'm not discounting anyone's negative experience. I'm just stating that IR is rather prevalent here.

And as much as Clevelanders state the city is segregated, Akron is far moreso, yet IR is still prevalent here. All of Akron's suburbs are at least 92% white...ALL OF THEM - So you know where the majority of black folk is (West Akron). Cleveland on the other hand has majority-minority suburbs.

I'm just sorry you had a bad experience AnM.
