Oh bloody hell, I woke up to a swollen face and swollen eyes.

    :smt022

I apparently had an allergic reaction to either the sun or the sunblock. I put the same sunblock on my daughter and she didn't get any sunburn, so I know the sunblock works.

This is twice in less than a year that I've had an allergic reaction for something I put on my face and have had a swollen face and swollen eyes when I woke up.

Getting old is hell. I've never had an allergic reaction to anything before. ARGH!! :smt093

Aww sorry about that. :( Never had sunblock give me a reaction. Could have been something you ate?

Nah, I don't believe it's anything I ate. I fairly certain it was the sunblock.

Well, the benadryl must be working. My eyes are hardly swollen anymore. Yay!! Maybe I'll be able to put my contacts in tomorrow.

The reunion thing was fun. Though one of the women there is very insecure and if she'd have known celebrities she would have been name dropping. It was quite annoying to talk to her....when we were in Germany for 2 weeks, when we went to Brazil for our anniversary, my house is now only worth $300K when we paid $600K and put $200K down. Are ya kiddin' me? Who cares. LOL.

But it was still fun to see everyone. And our old band teacher showed up for a bit. That was fun to see him. He remembered everyone either by their name or the instrument we played. LOL.

    Now I'm ready for bed.

I'm glad your lovely eyes aren't as swollen. I'm glad you had a good time. Sounds like you knew quite a few characters back in the day.

As far as Smooth is concerned, he needs to revamp his script big time.

I have been working a new job at a clothing store. I run the shop by myself. I like it a lot because I get to catch up on my reading and get to update my Twitter status every three minutes. Today I had a group of eight girls come into the shop. The manager always told me to watch out for girls who come in large numbers. Still seated, with my book settled on the desk, I scan each of the girls. One of the teenage girls comes up to and says: "Where's (manager's name)? She always gives me a discount." I tell the young girl: "She's out of the country." This girl than says: "Than how am I going to get my discount?" I than say to her: "When I'm not here and she is, you can get as much discount on that $10 dress you're holding." These b*tches were swarming the freaking store. This reminded me of what young kids used to do in California (they'd come in LARGE numbers and just take everything). Low and behold, while they're at the door one of the girls grabs something and runs out with the rest of her friends into a running car (some old dude was driving). Before I could get to the door they're already gone.

WTF IS UP WITH THE YOUTH THESE DAYS? I tried to steal once in my life and I was in sixth grade at that time. My dad found out and made me return the item to the store. I felt so bad because he kept telling me I was hurting the economy by not buying the product and was also hurting working class employees.

SMFH. If I ever have kids and I catch him/her stealing I swear I will go nuts on them.

    P.S.
Please excuse the grammar/spelling errors. I'm a little inebriated tonight as well.

I am fighting my desire to go get a job in my field since there are so many jobs in the usa. I have to go after all of my degrees before going. I figure if I delay my gratification and get a few more degrees, I'll be better off in the future.

Found a new job, saving money, lost weight down to 250 now, and I'm going to enroll in school sometime this fall, or next spring.

Well goddamnit. My shoot got cancelled. So I'm kinda annoyed. Next time I'm charging a fucking deposit. I didn't because I was doing her a favor, but I spent the day at home trying to get hold of her, instead of at work where I could have been making money. Grr.

I need to figure out where to advertise so I can get real clients, I guess. Just sucks that I turned down a shift because today was supposed to be more lucritive. And on top of that, she didn't even bother to let me know. A text would have been nice.

Argh. It's been a fairly taxing weekend, to say the least.

    Sonny, long time no see!

well some of you know me on the board...i tend to shy away here & there but I come out of hiding & usually shock ya all wit a post LOL....

anyway, what's goin on with me, I havent really told this on the board but I broke up with my bf a month & a half ago. Things weren't going well & he wasn't intending on changing that. Still isn't. So that's that.
I'm working on getting my driver's license too. yeah...I'm 25 & just have a learner's. Driving isn't easy for me, as I have a learning disability & it takes me longer than the average person. Apparently, 10 years longer but that's ok....I will hopefully have it by fall. Then I plan on moving out to my own place as I do make enough & being able to drive myself around & not depend on others. Sometimes I feel like I'm stuck in the body of an 18 yr old. :\
I'm currently also trying to grow my hair out to see how long I can get it, as I've always been the girl with short hair since I was young. :) Should be fun.

    That's really about it.

I got my learner's when I was 15 or 16. I didn't get my Driver's license til I was 18. There are plenty of people in new york that haven't or never will get their license so don't feel bad about it.
