Do you have anything against black women?

After perusing though Craigslist personals I was amazed to find black men posting for white women only and adding that black women need not apply! I wanted to learn more about this so I googled and came across this website. After I LOL'd the first thing I thought of was this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXqj4g64zfs

I have my own connotations about this but I want to hear it from the horse's mouth!

So my question is: Do you have anything against black women in general? You should only be answering this question if you're 1) black 2) male.

Does this by any chance have anything to do with 'research for term paper'?

Nope. I have nothing against black women.

We've been down this road plenty of times. [IMG]

Ugh research paper..no. The fall quarter doesn't start until late September and I go to pre-dominantly white university. I would feel really uncomfortable writing about something like this.

If there is a previous thread you know of...link me.

I haven't been on WWBM as long as some, but my gut opinion is there are a percentage of dudes here who absolutely loathe sistas, and the rest of us who are here simply because we dig White women, which doesn't even come close to suggesting that we don't vibe off Black females, or any other group of women, for that matter.

I've had some really positive, deep intimate relationships with White women and there is something 'unique' about the attraction that's hard to quantify.

I'm not obsessed, but a cool, cute White girl ( with bunz!!) will always get play from ME!

    holla.

I'm sure there are BW personals at craigslist that says BM need not apply....yet...you only focus on BM.

    Hmmm

Nobody seems to ask BW what they have against BM...It's always on the Brothers.

a cursory search of my cities craigslist shows that one has to actually type in certain keywords to bring up the results they are looking for, they are not categorized. Many of these personals, like the ones on here, don't seem real, or they are just for sex....

Craigslist's personals is full of phony ads from my perspective so I won't give too much credit to those personals. I love women of all kinds. Some men just have problems being able to pick the right woman and uses race as an excuse to not date certain women.

Presumably from this response you seem to be a young Black woman in college.

    Here's some advice.

You are not going to get any elucidating responses on here about this topic. What Black men who are with White women think of Black women should be unimportant to you. It's the dialogue of a bereft group of women with low self esteem. Wading in it is just going to fill you with powerlessness and antipathy against people you don't know.

Focus on your career. Find someone if you don't already have someone, start checking for White men and non Black men if you haven't. If you are holding out for Black men, stop checking Craigslist and form or surround yourself in circles of like minded endogamous Black people. If you have some notion of endogamous group solidarity (Black love or reviving the Black family), then that starts with you making positive steps in your life like accomplishing your goals in school.

If any or none of this applies to you, either way, exploring the connotations behind certain Black men's personal ads on craigslist and then coming here for further clarification doesn't get to the source or answer the real question I think those Black woman's p.o.v/burden crowd really want to know: Why would a Black man prefer a White woman over a Black woman? or more extreme, Why do so many Black men prefer White women over Black women?

Case in point, I like White women irrespective of my view on Black women. Some Black men are the same, but instead of admitting their primary attraction for White women, will use the behavior of Black women as an excuse as to why they date White women. Like all these dead horse threads, asking Black men on here if they have anything against Black women is just going to lead to other questions like the ones I posted above, invariably most Black women already have answers to them, yet they come to validate their answers or seek a redress against the Black men here.

If you could do anything right now, what would it be? Go try to do it!! What random Black men like us or on craigslist think of Black women should be the furthest thing from your mind.
