Ay yo Brooklyn, what's up with the Italian dude going off during one of those meetings on the hill yesterday? That dude lit that shit up
Something about people in legislation flip flopping their votes, on the 9-11 healthcare bill for ill first responders... He took it really to heart and was verbally killing people when he had the floor. He was telling senators to sit down and all kinds of brawlic shit.
I think you're referring to Anthony Weiner, congress man from New York. He's actually a Jew, not Italian(Aitalian as some southerners refer to them). He was college roommates with another Jew, Jon Stewart of the Daily Show.
I stand corrected. I didn't go to a website and do research. I just went off of what I seen while standing in a line earlier. he was going off on them like silly, but he had a point... and it's sad a bill for 9/11 responders is spending so much time, before being passed, for the benefit of them. Goes to show you this country has it's priorities backwards.
he has a point tho... why are they pussy-footing around with a bill, that's supposed to aide people that risked their lives, when this country was under attack.... that's how it usually goes tho..I mean look at the salary of Pat Tilman, an Army Ranger sent straight into Afghanistan during the early years of that war. Granted he was rich before he entered, he was making like 19K a year, doing something that was very noble in defense of his home, his family, and our families that lost people when those towers fell. All of those guys were on the frontlines, taking the fight directly to the Taliban before anyone else was. Now picture some of them getting wounded, or losing a limb. Imagine how much paperwork they would have to go through, to get the proper benefits and treatment they deserved. All they fucking did was shed blood for this country, so that other cities would not come under future attack...so that you and me would not lose more loved ones to suicidal terrorists. This country shits on its heroes and makes me glad that I did not enlist, because when you look at it that way, many Americans are not fit for me to die for.
