There is no way in the world Gabby should have been on that cover, but Zoe Saldana should have, unless they thought she was too old. Gabby would have ruined that spread.
Basically. I mean she really would've taken up 2-3 spots. They would have to make the spread a billboard if they put her on there(Aight, that last one was an exaggeration, but still, she doesn't belong on that cover).
I think Zoe would have been considered too old. Plus her biggest movie, she was blue all through it, not a "black woman" per se. There were actually women who wrote in saying that Gabby should have been on the cover, I'm not making it up.
Minority Women who could've made that cover: Zoe Saldana Dania Ramirez Rosario Dawson- Maybe she's too well known Jessica Lucas Katerina Graham Lauren London
They have em on the low-key. There was a Levi's ad not long ago that featured a BM and WW kissing for a brief moment. They subtly do it in some commercials but you have to look for it.
I never thought Halle was all that even in her prime. Moving right along... Maybe I should've said, "She's finer than Beyonce." I wouldn't say that though, cause then I would be lying to myself.
