Seriously...the way Sir Nose geeks out over Green Lantern, somewhat mimics the way I geek out over new info for this movie. They still have yet to show production screenshots from the film tho. just a little info about the film http://www.slashfilm.com/2010/07/26...eshield-evolves-over-the-course-of-the-movie/ Reminds me of what they did with the first Iron Man, to be honest (the whole idea of going through a process). It's an origins film afterall. I guess the Fantastic Four won't be having anymore sequels, since Chris Evans is playing ol' Capt. I guess hollywood is short on young, popular white guys. Although they could have had one of those turds from Twilight play Captain America....... Casting can be found here http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0458339/ Hugo Weaving is looking to be playing Red Skull..so that has me a bit excited too. He's a pretty good actor and I can definitely see him playing that role. He was definitely a bastard in The Matrix and the Skull is no different.
Vintage Stan Lee. Good comic to be geeky over. Oh, and Marvel is all about origins. In fact, it is the semi-realistic, quasi-scientific beginnings that largely distinquish Marvel from DC IMO. Bring on the old-timers again to the box office. When I take my kids I will buy popcorn, drinks, ju-ju bees and 3-D glasses for the entire bunch. We're talking $120 minimum.
Yeah they're keeping the video off the net. I do like the ww2 theme tho. It's pretty popular in video gaming and movies. Imagine saving private Ryan, with capt obliteraring the German line with his shield.
I've been thinking that for YEARS. Think the washed-out blue look of Private Ryan, but Cap's costume pops through digital color correction. Me being old school, I wanna see Bucky Barnes at his side too but they will probably go the Ultimates route and make Bucky be a photog or something =P
I think at the end of the movie, bucky will make a winter soldier appearance, giving us a small tease to a sequel. I could see that making fans even wilder after sitting through the main film.
Ugh the Winder Soldier thing is one of the things I hated about modern comics. It was blasphemy to bring Bucky back.
Lol I'm just saying if I were a director, I would do something like that to make the audience want more
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbi...e-scenes-comic-book-film-shooting-London.html small update the man is a stunt double, so dont go hatin on how fugly Capt looks in his costume... plus, there arent any movie effects like film-grain, coloration techniques, etc, so it looks a bit 'plain'
