LOL, The music today and always have been for a certain demographic. You would be surprised how many clubs are playing old school music. there is one club in bham called " bell bottoms" they play a variety but primarily early 90's 80's and 70's music. That place would be packed with folks from ages 25 to about early 40's. there is a club called onas (jazz club) that place stay packed with the older crowd. 30 - 50 and mostly working class and professionals. primarily a black club BUT there are a few whites couples hanging out. they have white jazz bands there as well as black. all types of jazz so it is popping. To a pt Im like you Im not BIG on clubs....I usually meet women at stores, the university Im attending, art galleries ect... because there is no cover charge and women dont expect to get hit on at those places most of the time.
yes, dont stalk a woman...that is creepy. you can watch her every move so you can see for an opportunity to meet her but stalking...damn the dress code must be followed. you dont have to have $1000 outfit to be crisp but even if you have one you can look jacked up...how see statement above

Yeah, I've been hearing about clubs playing old school. My friend was telling me about a club that plays mainly funk. I would be hella down to go, but my friend moved away. To quote Nate Dogg, "This is where I wanna be".
agreed...i don't go to clubs because i feel ancient, and i also prefer to be able to have a conversation without yelling. i go to bars & pubs now

that is one thing about clubs I hate. especially when it hits after 10:00 hour. that is when they crank it up. It is a good spot to meet people for whatever situations especially when you vacation.
I dont like competing with the music either but at least at the club there is some expectation that women will get hit on. as far as ancient why would you feel that way. as stated earlier there are other types of clubs that are conducive for you. BA hit it on the head when he stated that hip hop clubs would be out of the question for someone our age. I would even go as far as 30 and above is too old for hip hop clubs. HH clubs are fairly new realtively speaking
As rapper Ron Browz says in a song...No Hand Cuffin' in the Club. Meaning dont catch feelings if you see another guy flirting with the same girl you are trying to mack to. It's all fair game. for the players that dont know what to do when you got a guy who is playing the sheriff handcuffing a female you will need to wait for a female to go to the bathroom or go to the bar ect...when ever she breaks away from a dude do your grenade macking. grenade macking is spitting your game real quick and give her your card and move on.
