Some guys like it, some dont. It can get annoying if you meet a girl in a club or a bar, and you think they are stunning. And then you see them a few days later and they look like someone totally different. What do you feel about women wearing makeup? Do you like it if a girl wears makeup everyday? How often do you like them wearing makeup?

Makeup is like the wonderbra, it makes you think there is more then there actually is..Personally I love the natural look..

I like the natural look. Makeup is fine, as long as there isn't a 1 inch barrier of that shit on them.

I only wear make-up when i'm going out at night, and then it's normally very minimal...mascara, eyeshadow, a little blush & lip gloss...i don't wear foundation as i don't need it. during the day i'm completely fresh faced

I never had a man tell me I wear too much makeup, but like Tbear, I wear it when I'm going out, be it day or night. It goes with a nice outfit.

I wear eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner and I do my eyebrows.

Then I wear lipstick and I'll put a little concealer under my eyes cause I don't sleep that well and it shows. I don't wear foundation or anything caked on.

Sounds like a lot, but I don't think it is.

I think sometimes guys get confused and assume that normal women wear make-up for them or to impress them. My boyfriend tells me that he likes me without make up and if that's how he prefers me, why do I still insist on wearing it?
Well, it's because it makes me more comfortable. I wear concealer, foundation, mascara and eyeliner. Sometimes blusher, and of course I do my eyebrows since I don't want them to be a big mess. I don't really wear eyeshadow and I only wear clear lipgloss but I wear it because it makes me feel more comfortable.

When guys seem to say that they don't like women wearing make-up, a lot of the time they seem to be talking about this kind of look:

Of course that isn't attractive. But wearing make-up doesn't mean that you go over the top! The majority of women wear make-up in their every day life, even if it's just mascara or lipgloss or foundation or concealer. If mascara enhances your eyes and makes you feel more attractive, then why not? Wearing make-up daily doesn't automatically mean that you over-do it.

I like the make-up jobs that just highlight already beautiful features. Nice light, fresh, vibrant look.

I despise the heavy make-up line, that one on ladies that falls on the jaw line usually--but I've witnessed anywhere from the neck (mimicking the line of the jaw), to just above the jaw line. Especially on a white girl, their face will be orange, and where the make-up ends will be whiter than vampire white. Obviously this usually attributed to the ladies that wear too much.

I know, I often wonder if women who wear makeup like that do it on purpose or if they're just not seeing the stark contrast when they loom in the mirror? It looks awful.

It's actually not that they wear too much FRESH, it's more likely that they just don't know how to select the proper shade, or apply it correctly. I see that a lot. You just want to go up to them and blend their faces so they don't look like a clown. I don't understand how anyone looks in the mirror and thinks they look good like that.

I agree with Russia also, I don't wear makeup for anyone but me, and I don't wear anything but chap stick unless I'm going out and plan to get out of the car, so a couple times a week at most. However I do know how to put it on and I've never had someone tell me it looks like I wear a lot. I always wear lipstick or lip gloss, because I can't stand the feel of dry lips. I often don't bother with eye shadow or mascara, except on my lower lashes cause for some asinine reason they are blonde and you can't see them at all unless I do. But my foundation matches my skin tone, it's not orange, nor is it poorly applied. It's not that hard to do, but some people sure appear challenged.

Basically though makeup on or off, I look the same and you'd know who I was. Honestly the most noticeable difference is that you can see all the freckles on my cheekbones when I don't wear makeup, but otherwise I look the same. But the only way a man is likely to see me with it off is to wake up next to me in bed.

In everyday life I never use make up becaus I think glasses hide everything anyways... when i wear contacts I wear make up depending on the occasion. I usually don't wear foundation, especially in summer, it's too hot. I wear eye shadow, black pencil and eyelash, and on the lips pencil and gloss, that some shade on the cheeks with glitter.
When I have a bellydance show I wear heavy makeup for a more dramatic look.
My dad told me I looked like a "WHORE" with that on one day. Nice, uh? Reason why we don't talk much.

Exactly, I agree with you. You can have a lot of make up but make it very natural, or u can have just a bit and look horrible. Like those girls who have a heavy suntan and wear highlighter pink lipstick and white eyeshadow :smt078
I know it's about tastes, but some girls really look FAKE.

That's a good point TS. You can wear more eye makeup when you have glasses on, as they do tend to mute everything. I do tend to wear some eye shadow when I wear my glasses, but I still rarely do mascara on the upper lashes cause I don't like them hitting the lenses when I blink.

Oh and :smt018 at your father.

That girls problem isn't too much makeup it's her lips and the fact that she has fried her skin to crispiness with the sun.
