The fact of the matter is black women are getting it more than anyone. I find it hard to believe that these women are choosing to protect themselves. It is everyone's job to protect themselves. A man can say no to using protection but that doesn't stop a woman from using protection. You can strip all hiv positive people of race gender and secuality and they would still be infected. In the end, it doesn't matter what race gender or sexuality they are. It is if they decided to protect themselves. And a lot of the infected did not. That is why they are infected. What gets me so mad about sherri and D.L. is they didn't put the blame on who deserved it and didn't stress enough in protecting oneself.

It doesn't matter what D.L. said for against, we bolster his image by acknowledging that he has a point of view, therefore making him more intriguing, in hope that people will tune in and listen to what he has to say next.

It's easy to blame a lot of things on black people, in terms of society, we have been put at the bottom of the barrel, no one likes us, and it's easy to blame the people that no one likes, who's going to stick up for them?

I don't say anything negative about my any parts of my race/ethnicity to strangers, associates, or to certain friends, because people take your comments as "green light" to talk them selves about your race, and often time that ends up bad. It's similar to the "n" word, I just don't say it because it's always taken out of context, even by black people themselves (not mention that the word fore most is degrading in my opinion).

And you know what; I'm so tired of being singled out predominantly. If it's not "us" being treated unequally, it's us in this aid/HIV talk. the DL/jailhouse acts, "our" men being in jail, educational level, home life, yadda yadda yadda, on and on, negative Nancy, negative Nancy, negative Nancy....I'm so tired of being tired, all my rants end up like this as of lately. I think I'm going to retire/refrain from "black issues." Not ignore them, but just not speak about them, like keeping your private home stuff, behind closed doors lol.

Agreed. Both of those nitwits arent experts at all and are all about ripping into black men.

Look, I am not naive to think that AIDS isnt a serious problem but Down Low Hugley is going about in such a stupid way:smt076

    I feel the same way.

You just feel like you're spinning your wheels after doing it all the time.

    Moving on...
