If you watched the olympics, you could have seen it coming. Wade and James were good friends on that team. This is the closes we will ever have to a dream team being in the NBA.

the Heat will NEVER get out of the east without some good 7-footers coming off the bench to battle Dwight Howard & the Celtics big men...

Then there's the Lakers. If they don't have big guys they don't stand a chance!

    Well said, sir.

    I completely agree.

They still have a lot of spots to fill before they have any chance of going to the Finals.

I expect it to take them somewhere around 2 years to get their team in the condition they are hoping for.

    What up, LA,

Yeah man. If people really expect them to win it all next year they'll be seriously disappointed. It's gonna take time (if it ever happens.)

They STILL have a LOT to TALK ABOUT; As if there's NOTHIN' BETTER TO DO!

    Installment One:

And it comes from all sides...

    http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2010/07/13/cavs-owner-fined-searing-attack-lebron/

Nothin' better to do with your time, eh, m8?

And people today *still* wonder why Cleveland is eternally known, with howls of derisive laughter in the background...*and* foreground....as The Mistake On The Lake!

    Installment Two:

    How OTHERS See it:

    http://www.cbssports.com/columns/story/13637053/jacksons-opinion-makes-other-side-look-better

O'YEA! After YOU got one of your followers *knocked up* in an extramarital affair...like, you've got a right to talk.

    Note to Jesse Jackson:

    You're an idiot.

    Go away.

    One Final Response:

All this mess....harkens back to the time when Cleveland was lost in a Depressive Funk over the Cleveland Browns leaving their city for Baltimore in November 1995. It's one reason why I decided to leave thwe city for good almost 2 years after....and yet another reason why the city is the target of jeering & derision. The schools were/are in serious disrepair; The police force was/is sorely understaffed; The roads & streets were/are in deplorable condition...even the assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Ithzak Rabiin only rated a postage stamp sized pic & a small paragraph on the front page the day the Browns departure was reported (3/4 of the Front Page, mind you! Rabiin's story was on Page 99-Z somewhere..) but the City of Cleveland has its priorities straight...Don't mess with their Pro Sports!

I remember seeing in one of their Dailies one bloke quoted as saying (The morning after the team's secret overnight exodus): "I opened up a six-pack of beer and cried all night".

And is af that wasn't bad enough...one fella was on telly...on ESPN for all the world to see....stating straightforward and in all sencerity...that he compared the departure of The Browns from Cleveland to the deaths of John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King. That guy needs to see a doctor.

I do understand that *any* major (or medium/fair-to-middling) city whose Pro Team suffers any kind of loss *is* a major blow to said city's morale, but, come on, for Christ's Sake, lets get things into perspective!

I think we can all get on with our lives.

    Can we?

    Please.

He went to Miami because his boys treated him like family. So tight was that group they played b-ball since they were kids.

All hell is gonna break loose when the season starts.

I predict another Lakers vs. Celtics summer in 2011.

    Lakers will three-peat.

    Mark my words.

In time they will be where they are hoping to be.

I don't see them winning a ring right away.

    Maybe 2-3 years.

come on. They were able to win the Olympics. I think they got a good chance at it. This isn't two brand new people getting use to each other. They did that at the Olympics.
