Everyone thinks I'm crazy, but the guy who used to be on At the Movies went on the Young Turks last week and said that Gibson's career is over, specifically because of the racist rant.

I'm saying. He won't be in another blockbuster.

Let say his block buster era is over, which I dont think it is, but just for the sake of argument, it is over....but Mel will not be hurting. How old is Gibson, like 55? He has been getting cream of the crop pussy, a hella lot cheese, has won oscar, directed great films, has few kids, supported his folks finnacially, starred in top major motion picture..... the guy will not feel any dent on his bank account.


His acting days is not over, if it is, he can always become a senator of some biggoted states or mayor of some racist town, we do have lots of those in America.


Remeber Gibson is not Arseno Hall. We all know how Arseno has been dumped....

 

His acting career is definitely over. What self respecting director would work with him now???

He will probably lay low for awhile then come back and direct some independent film with dialogue from a dead language (like Apocalypto or The Passion)

Also, he is set for life finacially especially because of all the money he made from The Passion. I forget how much it was but it was a staggering amount

 

It was a billion but half after the split from his wife. I guarantee this piece of shit will still direct and produce movies. Charleston Heston was a notorious racist and people still loved him. This racist shit only effects young actors and people with shit to lose. Mel Gibson is in the drivers seat and what hurts the most is I loved most his work. The Patriot is one of my favorite movies and now I can't watch that shit anymore. The most bothersome thing is his stardom was jump started by the Lethal Weapons Series which he starred in with a black man. Smfh

 

I didn't know that, but I've never been a big fan of his. I did always think it odd that the man most famous for playing Moses was a major spokesperson for the NRA. Just conjures up images of Moses packing heat. :smt068

Well since I don't go to the movie theaters. I can honestly say that I will not spend a dime on watching another Mel Gibson movie!

 

I go to the movies but because my sister works there I get in for freeeee so yeah, not spending a dime either.
