R&B star Ciara has a shoe addiction she spends $11,000-a-month on fancy footwear. The "Get Up" hitmaker loves spending big on "extravagant shoes" and has a staggering 1,000 pairs in her closet. And the singer admits she can easily blow a huge amount every month just to keep up with the latest trends. She tells Pride magazine, "When I go shopping, my most extravagant purchases are normally going to be shoes. I just love shoes and go for what's hot. I like everything from Louboutin and Dr Martens to Versace and Fendi." "A person should always be able to afford to extravagant shoes. I think I probably own maybe a thousand pairs...It depends on the items, but, on an average shopping trip I probably spend a minimum of $1,200. It's not that bad! On average, I will spend about $11,000 a month (on shoes)." Source: AceShowBiz
... and thousands of dollars! I feel so much better I think I should celebrate... there's this pair of Vince Camuto pumps I've had my eye on at Dillards.
Most people could live really, really comfortably on half what she spends in a month Bookie. I just couldn't do it, I'd get hives and start to hyperventilate every time I walked into my closet.
It's pretty sick to think about....these people aren't living in reality. And there are other people who are homeless. Makes you wonder why life couldn't be a little more fair for everyone. Anyway, I digress. This thread is celebrating shoes!!
I have friends that have so much money they can't even spend it all. When I look at them though, they are no happier than me. I am just as happy having a new pair from Target as I am with Nordies shoes. Money doesn't buy happiness and it doesn't fill any holes inside you if you have those that need filled. :smt056
Very true Jordan, and maybe it's just the people I know, but it seems the more money you have, the more holes you have to fill.
LOL!! Very true!! Also very true. Money can't buy you happiness, but the rich spreading the wealth and giving it to charities for people in need seems like a better option than spending thousands on shoes every month. But, anyway....
I'm glad men's shoes will never run you that much. Even the most expensive ones wont go over $600. If they do, its extremely rare.
