ESPY how am wrong? Why is that the top men sprinters are always faster than women? Why is that men body builders are always stronger than women? Why do the top basketball athletes always jump higher than women? If women were equals to men why don't they let men and women fight in boxing matches? Obviously women could use there small size to an advantage as you and I believe Chi have said...right. Women are more flexible and from some of the research that I've seen can handle pain better but other than that I can't think of anything a woman is better at than a men from a physical standpoint.

Well I don't really share the same opinion as Ms Kourtney. Only when it comes to men being physical superior to women. From what I have read she believes that men are should never hit a woman under any circumstance. While I don't agree with what Chris did to Rihanna I don't think she is completely innocent in the situation. The East Coast is pretty big so who knows where she is from. I originally didn't want to put down to much info on my profile but I think I have already mentioned that I'm from Baltimore, lived in Philly for school, and worked in Boston. Hence the East Coast reference.

 

For the record, I think both of you are right but are fighting two different battles. The average woman could not beat the average man. Espy is also right that a woman with training could beat a man.

Yes and I didn't say the average woman could beat the average man, that was not the comment Ms Kourtney made. She stated essentially that a woman could not take a man, that is false. A properly trained woman can, and not all properly trained women look like that female pic you posted either. I've seen small women whup bigger men, there are a lot of variables that play into any fight, and size and strength are only two of them, and sometimes they aren't the most important.

 

I think that is where you two were having the problem. I think he thought you meant the average woman could beat the average man while you were defending that a well trained woman could beat the average man. Both are correct views as far as I am concerned.

Well to me it did sound like ESPY was stating that an average women could beat a man. I too think that Chyna would be the hell out of Danny Devito but that goes to show that it has to be somewhat extreme in nature for it to happen. ESPY I don't think Kourtney said no woman could take a man but that most men would take most women. Size and and strength doesn't always guarantee a win in a fight but it does increase the probability especially if it is a man on woman. There are always exceptions to a rule but the few small women that whip up on men are just that, exceptions.

My sister in law is the regional kick boxing champion, and she's a parole officer. She's tiny and adorable, but believe me not a one of those big tough thugs is testing the "men are always stronger than women" theory. It would be a mistake. Girly is terrifying.

Women fought for generations for the right to fight in the military, to work construction jobs, to compete at sports at all.
