Did C. Brown really break down like that? When celebrity Black men start crying on t.v. that's when I turn the channel. I can't stand watching that shit.

Especially when it's some kind of public apology like the Tiger Woods one.

Okay first off, a woman can defend herself against a man even if he is bigger and stronger, just depends on how well trained she is in self-defense. Size isn't everything. So IMO a woman and a man can be a fair fight, and the fact that she's smaller and female are in fact typically advantages. In my experience men don't hit a woman as they would a man because they too think they have the advantage of size and strength, anytime someone underestimates you it's an advantage. If you're a bright woman, you'll capitalize on that.

If my daughter made the choice to hit someone and he smacked her back and she looked like Rhianna as a result, I'd tell her she should have kept her hands to herself. It doesn't make me a shitty mother, in fact I think it makes me a good mother. I practice what I preach. You do your children a huge disservice if you tell them what you believe to be right and wrong, and then you bend those rules for them. All that teaches them is they don't have to follow any moral code, the rules are made to be broken or they just don't apply to you if you don't want them to. As previously noted, my daughter wouldn't hit a man first anyway, both my children have been taught that you don't physically assault someone unless they hit you first, or unless they are harming someone else who can't defend themselves. It's called moral fiber, honor, manners... some of the qualities that Karma was trying to convey to you as ladylike.

I didn't ask what a Taliban was. So you are saying that since I have black girlfriends that I am a "neck rolling, urban, ghetto" white girl? Again what is your beef with BW? You came from one. How do you figure that I get my talking points from my black friend. In actuality she is probably the most poised, soft spoken, and polite girl that I know. Why are you assuming that she is a certain way? Is it because she is black and all black girls must act the same in your eyes.

    Speak for yourself.

Some of us are strong & agile enough to fight a Man and still smart enough not to.

You know what small Men who know they can't win a fight with another Man do? They avoid starting fights, or they get used to being hit.

You don't wanna get hit? Don't hit.

Are we seriously pretending this person is who she says she is?

I completely agree with everything you said. I am the sameway. Consider yourself lucky because you are the exception and not the rule. But I will point out that women typical are responsible for taking care of the kids and the house even if she has a husband at home. So she can not put in the same overtime that men do.

Yes there are women that are strong and agile, but on average most men are bigger and stronger than most women. This is a fact.

Try again. I worked 70+ hours every week, and I raised two kids and a husband. Where there's a will there's a way. I work for myself now, but I still almost never log less than 65 hours a week, and still raise two kids. I'll admit everything but work, kids, and taking care of things at home got put on hold for me, but that was a price I was willing to pay. After they're grown and out of the house I can scale back if I want to.

Ah, Espy you're like Wonderwoman. I'll think of this when I'm feeling sorry for myself with work, college and Jacoby. When Jake's a bit older I would love to work much more but I hate missing out on milestones, I'm sentimental like that haha.

Kudos to you but like I said you are the exception to the rule. I'm not trying to come at you. I am acknowledging your hard work.

Dont mind him. He feels threatened by you since you are not fawning over him and showering him with compliments, therefore he will lash out at you and accuse you of being a black woman or in this case a "neck pobbin urban white chick". He's an ignorant buffoon if you havent noticed by now.

Yes, most men are taller which gives them the advantage of reach, and heavier with greater upper body strength, which gives them the advantage of more power behind a punch. However that doesn't mean they can best a woman in a fair fight. Women are typically shorter and lighter, which makes us faster and more agile as Chi pointed out. It doesn't matter how hard they hit, if they don't land the right blows and you do. Ever heard the term 'glass jaw'?
