ya know ghana have beat america before right? ya know ghana won the under 20's world cup last year right? wouldnt go writing ghana off as some little third world country
hmm... i respectfully disagree. mean more to ghanians just because they are not international in anything else? uh... "ok." go USA!!! may the best team win, that's all i want to see. single elimination tournament at this point, it's anybody's match on any given day.
yea, their team is totally legit. nobody who is following the tourney is sleeping on them. they should have won their group. i think they just put it on cruise control because they knew they were moving on. plus, don't forget they are missing some of their major stars. they bumped up some of the roster from the under 20 to play in this world cup to fill the void. so yea, that says a lot about how good their program is. but "STILL..." (dr dre style) go USA!!!
I meant in Ghana football is treated like religion, whereas in America it isnt there biggest sport. For example if Ghana were to win the World cup, there would more than likely be a public holiday to celebrate the win. I am not so sure this would happen in America.
I am not saying Ghana are Rubbish.Ghana are a good team. The American team have suprised me the most. They won the group that contained England(bad display I know) in it, so they cant be that bad. I am just saying its going to very difficult for Ghana to beat the USA, thats all. England couldnt do it, and they have a better squad then Ghana.. We will see...
props to ghana. they did the dang thing. great footwork and passing. usa was truly outshined today. without that foul in the box (was it really a foul?), there was no chance for us. i want to say it was a good match... but really it wasn't. usa looked less than stellar. and primarily because we were outskilled. so props to the victor. fair victory. *handshake*
Brazil will be winning this world cup as it's the only team to have won the world cup outside its continent (1958 and 2002).
one of the defenders out for the next match was covering for someone who's injured and is expected back next game anyway so hopefully wont be a problem, ill be rooting ghana all the way thought my other half was going to have a heart attack thou, i was sat on his knee and could feel his heart going faster and faster....... when the last whistle blew and ghana were thru he got so excited i ended up falling off and spraining my wrist, lol

Me too. They didn't even deserve to get through the group stages in my opinion. Same old Spanish, always cheating. Congratulations to Ghana!! Great performance. It would be brilliant to see an 'outsider' team win this world cup. Uruguay are a good team, but not unbeatable. Hope they get a little bit of luck!
Alright calm down!lol. I was only being logical. England have a better squad than Ghana, and they couldnt beat the USA, so I assumed Ghana would struggle against the USA.. Having said that England were not at their best, so I probably shouldnt have made that assumption.. No more predicting results from me again.
hun i aint worked up so no need to calm down. was just pointin out that england havnt been playing that great so far, hopefully they will step it up today cant say i see england as having a better squad than ghana but guess it al depends on who's doin the lookin
